Once upon a time, there was a man who loved a woman so much that he would do anything for her. She was the love of his life and he was ready to make one of the most sacred vows possible, marriage. Marriage was so sacred that you can only enter into it once because you pledge yourself wholeheartedly unless your spouse dies then you are able to apply for another chance to find love after the grieving period. The man knew that this was his one true love and every chance he got the man praised her and told her that she would be his forever bride. The man then discovered that there was a side of this woman that he never knew about and it was that side that made him question everything he knew about her. The woman claimed that it didn't matter that it was a part of her and she couldn't do anything to change it. The man didn't care though and left her with all their broken dreams and promises.
As the years past the man slowly got over the woman that he thought he was going to spend the rest of his life with and moved on with his life. He moved out of his hometown, got a great job, and met a new woman by chance when he was running to work late due to hitting snooze on his alarm clock one too many times. The man was awestruck at this new woman and soon he was looking for her every time he went to work hoping that he would be able to see her once more. After two months of seeking her, he saw her again outside his office building. Taking a deep breath he gathered his nerves and went to talk to her. The conversation couldn't have gone better and soon the two were getting coffee before work together and dinner after. If the two were really lucky then they could squeeze in lunch as well. As the two slowly got closer the man completely forgot about the other woman he swore to love.
As the months came and went the man knew that he was in love and that he never felt like this before so he went out and bought a ring for his beloved. On a starry night he took his love out to the park and they had a picnic, they laughed and ate and everything was merry. By the end of the night, they were laying down on the blanket star gazing as they both loved staring at the stars and making up fun little constellations of their own. The man looked at his love as she pointed out a crazy constellation in the sky he slowly pulled out the ring box and took the ring out and held it up to the sky in front of her as the diamond blended up against the stars. He asked what the constellation looked like now if she added this point to it. The woman turned and looked at him, he was smiling like a fool at her so she said "If you tilt it a little more it looks like a marriage proposal." he replied, "Looks like it, now all it needs is a yes." The woman smiled back at him took the ring from his hand and put it on before turning back to him to say yes with a kiss.
Just like that the two of them were engaged, telling their families and co-workers the good news. Everyone was happy, well everyone except the woman that was in the man's life all those years ago. Now how could she be happy if she knows that it should be her with the man, her with the ring, her happily ever after. She always thought that she could get him back one day but now it was all being ripped away from her. The woman had been sadly watching ever since the moment they first met a year ago hoping that he would remember her but no it was like she never existed at all. The woman watched the other woman walk down the aisle in white to the man of her dreams, something she would never be able to do now that it was taken from her. The woman wanted to storm down to the altar and ruin everything and then curse the man that had broken every promise he made to her but it was like someone had cast a spell on her instead because she couldn't move a muscle. Like everything in her was frozen but the fast beating of her heart. After the vows were exchanged and were sealed with a kiss the woman knew that it was over there was nothing she could do now, she stayed where she was until the sun rose up again the next day.
The woman tried to move on from the man but he was always in the back of her mind taunting her that he had moved on and was happier than he ever was with her. It was like he and his wife were mentally attacking her, a stab here and jab there. The woman couldn't take it anymore. She went to their house ready to make this all end and tell her old lover how much he hurt her and that she wasn't the person he thought she was. She wanted him back but she knew that it would never happen, you could only marry once in your lifetime as marriage was such a sacred thing and she didn't think she could handle killing another person.
As she walked to their house she saw something that shook her to the core the man and the woman together, she was pregnant. It was like everything in her shattered to the ground and she couldn't hold herself up anymore as she fell to the ground. It was like looking in a magical mirror of what her life should be like. Married to that man and pregnant with their first child, but it wasn't her. He dropped her so fast when he found out the truth, didn't even give her a chance to explain her side of things. He found happiness while he tormented her relentlessly. All she wanted was for him to love her again, she came here for relief of the past thinking she could finally move on if she talked to him, but now as she watched him kiss his wife's pregnant belly all she wants is for him to feel all the pain she has felt for years. No, she wants him to feel more pain.
It was then and there staring at them through the window that she came up with her plan of revenge. Like she heard people say revenge is a dish best served cold so all she had to do was wait for the perfect time. The time for her happily ever after to finally begin.
