(y/n) frowned as she watched Christopher and Cassie dance together. She had a crush on Cassie for the longest time, but her brother beat her to asking her out. To be fair, Christopher was clueless and didn't know she had a crush on Cassie, but she was still bitter.

"Hey." She turned and saw Rue standing behind her.

"Hey." (y/n) replied fully turning to face her. "You leaving?"

"Yeah, I'm gonna stop to see Fez and Ashtray. Wanna come?" Rue asked. (y/n) nodded and the two walked out of the house. (y/n) and Rue had been hanging out a lot since Rue got out of rehab. (y/n) knew what they were doing could kill both of them, but they couldn't stop. That feeling they got when the drugs took them to a place where their minds were empty and they couldn't feel a thing. It was all worth it to them.

"Ready?" (y/n) asked. Rue nodded and hopped on her bike and (y/n) stepped onto her skateboard and headed towards the store.

"Hey, Kid." Fezco greeted (y/n) as she waited outside while Rue was in the back with Ashtray.

"What's up, Fez." (y/n) smiled at man. The two sat in a comfortable silence until Rue came back out. They started to leave and the dealer called out to them.

"Yo, be safe you two!" The two girl waved to him and picked up speed as they headed to the McKay house.

"Your parents aren't home, right?" Rue asked.

"No, we're good." (y/n) reassured as they threw their bike and skateboard in the grass before entering the house and going to (y/n)'s room.

"Here." Rue said tossing a small baggie of white powder onto (y/n)'s nightstand.

"What is it?" (y/n) questioned picking it up.

"Don't know. Ashtray recommended it." Rue shrugged. (y/n) grabbed a random book and poured it onto it then separated it into four lines. "You haven't taken anything else have you?" Rue checked.

"No." (y/n) lied. She didn't want Rue worrying. She didn't think it was big deal. (y/n) rolled up a ten dollar bill and put it up to her nose. She inhaled as she followed the white line before doing a second one then handed the bill to Rue. She rubbed her nose from the small sting. (y/n) closed her eyes when she began to feel a little dizzy.

"You good?" Rue asked. The dizziness became more intense before she started to fall over and everything went black as she heard Rue screaming her name.

Cassie bounced her knee up and down as she sat in the uncomfortable hospital chair. She was at the hospital sitting by (y/n)'s bed, waiting for her to wake up. Rue had called Christopher when she was heading to the hospital after the ambulance had taken (y/n). Cassie was there as well and rushed to the hospital with him. She refused to leave until (y/n) woke up which confused Christopher, but he let her and he went home to take a shower asking her to call him if (y/n) woke up. (y/n) let out a hum making Cassie freeze and stare at her.

"Rue." (y/n) mumbled. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. "Cassie?" She asked confused.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Cassie jumped up. She was glad (y/n) was awake, but she was still pissed she would get herself into this.

"What?" (y/n) asked shocked at her outburst.

"You're so fucking stupid! Why would you do that?" Cassie yelled. "You could've killed yourself. Why are you even taking that shit?"

"So I can forget!" (y/n) yelled back. She knew she was in the wrong. She was just getting defensive.

"Forget what?" Cassie asked.

"About you and my brother!" (y/n) shouted.

"Why would you want to forget about me and McKay?" Cassie asked. She knew the answer. She knew about (y/n) liking her. She liked her too, but she was waiting to finally hear it from her. To be honest, she didn't know why she was dating Christopher.

"Because I love you, Cassie. I've been in love with you for so long, but Christopher asked you out first so I couldn't do anything." (y/n) admitted. Cassie grabbed (y/n)'s hands and stood in front of her.

"I love you too." Cassie said. (y/n) scoffed.

"Please don't just say that. You're dating my brother." (y/n) said.

"No, I mean it. I love you. I wanna be with you not your brother." Cassie said cupping her face and bringing her closer for a kiss. (y/n) hesitantly kissed back. "I love you, (y/n) McKay and you have to stop doing stupid shit so I can prove it to you."
