a/n: i accidentally deleted this when i was reorganizing the book, but luckily i had it saved in my notes so i'm reposting it.

"Fletcher's out there." Larri pointed out as they stood by the doors getting ready to leave.

"Who?" (y/n) asked.

"They Hollywood Fix guy. He's always around." James laughed. "He's like a paparazzi." (y/n) nodded.

"What's wrong?" Emma asked noticing her expression.

"Is that guy gonna be like filming you guys?" She asked.

"Yeah, he's probably just gonna ask some questions." Emma shrugged. "Do you not want him to know about us?"

"Not really." (y/n) shook her head. "I just don't like putting personal things out for the world to see." Emma nodded.

"Okay, we can just say we're friends." Emma suggests.

"Okay." (y/n) nodded. Emma smiled and they put their masks on and walked out. Fletcher immediately walked up to them and started a conversation. Emma and (y/n) stayed in the back to try and avoid any interaction, but were ultimately unsuccessful.

"Hey Emma, how are you?" Fletcher asked pointing the camera at them.

"I'm good. How are you?" She asked politely.

"Good. Who is this?" He asked motioning towards (y/n).

"This is (y/n). My best friend." Emma said linking their arms.

"Oh. It's nice to meet you, (y/n)." Fletcher said.

"You too." (y/n) responded.

"So you guys are just friends?" Fletcher asked. They both forced a small smile.

"Yeah, we're just friends. Nothing more." Emma said. They got into their car and said bye to James, Larri, Charli and Dixie.

"You know I'm not embarrassed of you or anything, right? (y/n) asked. "I'm just not into the whole putting my life on display for everyone to see and judge."

"I know. I don't mind." Emma said. She grabbed her hand and leaned over to kiss her cheek.
