First day.

Scarlett's POV
Today is the day I go to hogwarts and learn about new things and meet new people! I woke up extra early because I still had some things to  pack because I was too lazy last night. I finish packing and head downstairs struggling because of how heavy this damn trunk is. "Hey, scar! Are you excited to go!" My mom says as she makes some French toast which is my favorite. "I'm a little nervous," which is true, I already know the castle is going to be HUGE so I guess I'm just scared I'll get lost.

I put my trunk by the front door and sit at the table watching my mom frantically rush around the kitchen. Hopefully  I at least make one friend so I don't look like a complete loner. I ate my breakfast quickly and put my dish in the sink. "Mum are you ready yet?" I questioned as I watched my mum try to hurry up and clean, "almost!"

We have arrived at the train station even though i have no clue how any train here is supposed to take me to this magical school. Me and my Mum are walking around trying to find the train until I see this family of redheads with the same looking trunk as me. "Mum let's follow them!" we follow them and i watch one of them just run through a brick wall! "I'm supposed to do that!" when all of them are done i slowly walk closer, okay i can do this they just did it so, so can i. I run really fast at the wall and go through it to see this big train. My Mum made it through, " wow look at all these people!" There are a lot of people but mainly little kids who look really excited like me! Well, Mum, I should get on the train!" my Mum starts to tear up, i swear this woman never stops crying! I pull my Mum into a big hug, "I'm going to miss you scar!"

I finally finish my goodbyes and head on the train trying to find an empty cart because I'm not ready to socialize yet. I find one and get settled in, this train is really pretty and so spacious in the carts! I end up falling asleep the whole ride until someone taps my shoulder, I snap up "hey new girl!' oh it's just Cedric, i smile at him "hey, Cedric!" he looks good in his robes he looked good the first time i met him but him in his robes are just wow. "Are you done yet?" he says laughing. My face gets all red so i try to hide it "s-sorry it's just that i've never seen the robes before." Wow great excuse Scarlett.

I sat and talked to Cedric the rest of the ride to Hogwarts and it was nice talking to him. He's so easy to talk to! I was told by Dumbledore to wait until all of the first years were sorted into their houses. I'm sitting outside of the Dining Hall when i hear Dumbledor say, " And we also have a new student transferring into her 3rd year! Scarlett taylor please come in!" I start to get nervous but I just open the door and immediately everyones eyes are on me. As I'm walking my I make eye contact with this boy with bleach blonde hair. He raised his eyebrows at me but I looked away and kept walking. I'm sitting on the chair about to be sorted, all eyes are on me so that makes me even more nervous that I don't even hear what the hat says except for "Slytherin!" I make my way to the Slytherin table and sit at the end.

After dinner ends I get pulled aside by Dumbledor along with that boy from earlier, "sorry to pull you aside but Draco could you show Scarlett around the castle?" I looked over at the blonde boy, "sure." Dumbledor thanks Draco. I think his name was and we started walking.

"So, what school are you transferring from?" i tell him the school name and he looks confused "so you must be a Half-blood then." What the hell is a Half-blood? "Uh, what's that?" he looks at me, "one of your parents are a witch or Wizard, correct?" ohh i get it now Half-blood is where one of my parents are like me! "No. my parents aren't either." his face turns into disgust and he kinda scoots away from me. "You're a fucking Mud-blood! How the hell did you get into Slytherin only Pure-bloods can not Mud-bloods like you" wow he didn't seem like the bitchy type until now, why does it matter that my parents aren't magical? "Why does it even matter?" he laughed at me, "because Mud-bloods shouldn't even be at this school! People like you are a disgrace to this school." This dude is a dick! Who does he think he is calling me a disgrace! "I can't believe i thought you were pretty!" He thought I was pretty? "I'm done with this shitty tour! I don't need to be treated like shit by some asshole who thinks he can just be rude for no reason!" I stormed away, i hate him! He's so fucking annoying just because he's a Pure-blood like who gives a fuck!

I eventually found the common room but i don't know the password. I sit outside the common room for about an hour when someone finally comes. "Ah if it isn't the mudblood." Why of all people did it have to be him, "Look, I don't have time for your shit I've been out here for an hour so just let me in." He laughs and says the password 'pureblood' I could have guessed that. I walk in and look around at all the beautiful greens that were put together here! I guess I've always loved the color green, especially the one they put in here!

I make my way to my dorm to see who my roommate was. "Hey I'm Scarlett!" I say to the girl that sat at her desk, she has dark brown hair and falls straight against her shoulders. "I'm pansy Parkinson, you must be the new girl!" She looks up from what seems to be homework, "yeah I just arrived today!" I sit down on my bed which is actually really comfortable. "So you must be a pure-blood or a half-blood." What is up with these people asking the same question! "Actually I'm neither.."

Her face immediately changed, "wait I'm sharing a dorm with a mudblood! No that can't be true!" Seriously these people need to grow up! Who fucking cares that I'm a "mudblood" I'm human just like everyone else here! Pansy leaves the room in a rush somewhere. I head to bed thinking how tomorrow will be given the fact that Draco probably already told everyone.
