[ This Chapter's Point of View ; Andrew's Point of View. AKA, First Person. ]
I have my day cut out for me. Renting a house can be very stressful, I'm sure. I trust Ashley, but what will happen when we have to transport his and my chattels? I do not have many belongings, though he may have many. What will happen? Will he be irresponsible about the home or take care of it? This was a rent to own house, I very much indeed know that, but I do not want the house to be an immense disarray. The thoughts circulated around in my head as I turned the key in the ignition and drove towards the house. My head as well as my heart was pounding. I took a deep breath as I turned right, on Harvest Creek Road. Analyzing the house numbers as I drove slowly, carefully; I saw house number 204.. 205.. 206! Alas, I found 206, one minute early. Surprisingly, Ashley's car was already there, as well as the realtor's car, which wasn't surprising. I shook off my inner shaken mood and smiled, waving at the realtor, who was talking to Ashley. She waved back as I exited my car.
"Hello, ladies," I joked, chuckling. Ashley scrunched up his nose and punched my arm hard. Playfully, but hard.
"You have to be on your best behavior. Understood?" I said, sternly, in his ear. He put his hands up defensively, laughing.
"Alright, boss," he stated, winking.
"Alright, are we ready?" the realtor asked, smiling at the both of us. I nodded.
"Yes'm, we are," I said, following her, Ashley shortly behind me.
"This is the kitchen," she said smiling, passing the living room. "Everything is already furnished, this house had been on the market for a while, nobody was interested because it is fairly small. But it's perfect for two!" she grinned, showing us the master and second bedroom, as well as one half-bath.
I smiled softly, grinning wide to myself as she asked us if we were interested.
I nodded.
"Indeed! We would love to purchase." she grinned, grabbing my hand and shaking it, seeming to keep her professionalism intact. She gripped my hand and shook it.
"I am excited to finally do business with you, Mr. Biersack, and Mr. Purdy. How about we discuss this matter over lunch tomorrow, twelve-thirty?" she smiled. I nodded, though Ashley looked unsure of himself.
"I will surely be there," I stated, then Ash chimed in.
"I'm busy then, you can go, Andy," he nodded at me. I took the hint that he wasn't very sure or confident of buying a house and signing paperwork.
"I will meet you at twelve-thirty, Ms. Scott," I stated, exiting the house with Ashley, rubbing his back. She left, waving at us. We both waved back, an unsure smile was plastered on Ash's lips.
"It's alright, Ashley. I'll sign your name on the paperwork for you," I said, giving him a reassuring look, him hugging my torso. I smiled down at my shorter band buddy.
"Now for band practice, Purdy."
