[ This chapter's Point of View ; Third Person Omniscient. ]

Andrew nodded slowly, taken aback by his words. He then planted his feet beneath him on the concrete floor steadily, rocking his hips slightly to get used to the stance. Turning his torso slightly towards the rest of the band.
"What would we like to start off with, boys? To warm up," he asked slowly, the raspiness in his voice reverberating. Jacob shrugged, as well as CC, Ashley absentmindedly picking at the strings on his bass. Jinxx laughed slightly, smiling.
"I guess it's up to me and you then, Andy. Hm," he said softly, pausing after a few seconds, switching the weight to his left side.
"Children Surrender?" he suggested, as Andy nodded. Everyone was responsive and agreeing except for Ashley.
"Ash, Children Surrender? Does that sound okay to you?" Andy asked, a glimmer of concern in his pale blue eyes. He nodded. Jake and Jinxx started slightly on their guitars, then a bit more rapidly; then Ashley joined in, adding more solidity to their swift strokes along the strings. Andy flipped his hair to the right side, pressing his lips to the microphone. A few seconds later, Andy chimed in as well as CC.
"We're born into the night like children of the damned. And our pain will shine our light to those who understand," Andrew took a large breath, "Born into the night! Pain will change our light! Woah-oh-oh! Woah-oh-oh! Sink your teeth into forever...."
And so on. A few minutes later after the set, and a few more songs, Andrew cleared his throat.
"Important communiqué. May I tell you all about my lyric ideas?" Everyone nodded.
"Okay, Andy. Let's hear it," CC said.
Andy cleared his throat once again, quieter this time.
"Racing faster, escape disaster, partners in crime will leave their mark. We make our own way, no thoughts of yesterday.."
After a few minutes, he finished, whilst everyone was cheering, expect Ash.
"That's great, Andy!" Jake nodded, giving Andy a high-five. "What's the title?"
"The Legacy," he chuckled, shrugging. "I'm not so sure that it's very good. But, thank you guys, nonetheless. Is everyone ready to head home?" Andy asked.
"Yeah, I'll see you guys tomorrow, five-thirty? I have to run some errands," Jinxx said, turning off his and Jake's amp, setting his guitar on a black stand. Jake nodded. "I have to, as well," he added.
"Five-thirty is alright with me," CC smiled, while Ash nodded; Andy following suit.
"See you guys!" Jake said, walking through the corridors and halls, following almost everyone else, into their separate cars. After turning his microphone off, and dusting the stand off with his black bandana, his eye caught Ashley in a slow traipse towards the door.
"Ash, wait," Andy jogged to him, turning the lights off after he left the room. Ashley turned to him.
"Yes?" he answered, disinclining.
"Step into the kitchen with me," Andy ordered. He walked a few rooms over, sitting down at the same fold out table and chairs set, sitting directly across from where he found Ashley before the start of practice.
"Sit." Ashley sat in his spot as he arrived, his arms folded slightly along his chest, an eyebrow raised.
"You never want to talk to me in private. What's the matter?" he asked.
"That question also applies to you. What is it that you had to tell me?" Andrew asked, leaning his elbows on the table, frowning slightly.
"Ash, I care about you, you're like a brother to me, we're so close, and we've been close for a very long time. You can trust me. You know I wouldn't divulge you," Andy sighed softly, reaching across the table, looking him dead in the eyes. Ashley shook his head.
"I told you it's my nothing to worry over. It's nothing."
