Chapter 1

*Michael's P.O.V.*

So we just got done with our meet and greet. We did a little concert and played Try Hard. So we got home and and I ate some pizza then played some COD because it's LIFE. My phone went off and I got a DM. It was from my old friend Mykenzie. Mykenzie and I have been friends since we could talk. I remember when the band started taking off and I had to leave.

When I came back I realized I really liked her so when I went to see her, I saw her. She looked so beautiful her long brown hair, and her brown eyes. I love her eyes because one is a different shade then the other, I just love it. I took her to McDonalds and we caught up and when we went to her house I stayed over and had the boys come and she had her friends over.

*My P.O.V.*

Today was awesome Michael came back and came to see me. He took me to McDonalds since he knows I love McDonalds. Then my friends texted me and asked to come over. I mean their my friends why not, then they could finally meet Michael and his friends. Then he asked if he could stay with me.

I mean I don't mind he is my friend. But the thing is I had this feeling that I liked him. I always denied it maybe it was for someone else not Michael. He my best friend I couldn't like him could I? I just brushed it off.

When my friends came over they met Michael and his friends. So we got bored a decided to play truth or dare.

"Mykenzie truth or dare?" Sandra asked 

"Truth." I answered 

"Is it true you like Michael?" She asked, she knew how i kinda felt about Michael.

 I looked at her and had tears in my eyes. I got up an ran outside and down the street to a tree. I go to it when I need to be alone. I went there as a kid, when Michael left I started going there more often. Like once a day. I went there because I missed my best friend. I ran as fast as I could, I climbed the big branch and sat there and cried. I can't believe she did that.

"Mykenzie?" Michael asked

"What, just go away." I snapped

"Mykenzie please come down." Michael said

"Michael just go away." I said

"Don't make me come up there to get you." Michael said teasingly 

"Michael don't you dare." I said trying not to giggle

"Ok I am coming up." He said starting to climb

When he finally reached me, he sat next to me.

"Mykenzie whats wrong why did you run?" Michael asked

"It just what Sandra said I told her not to bring it up." I said trying to fight my tears.

He put his arm around me and hugged me, we sat there for awhile then my phone started to vibrate.

I told Michael that we had to get back. He was the first one down I was climbing down and my foot slipped and I was falling but of course Michael caught me. I looked at him and he smiled and started leaning in. 

"Thanks for catching me buddy." I said with a fake smile

"Anytime." He said with a little frown.

I mean I wanted to kiss him but I didn't. I just don't know what I want. We walked home in akward silence. 

*Michael's P.O.V.*

Wow nice going Michael you blew it. She's your best friend and you tried to kiss her. UGH, we walked home in silence. When we got to her house we walked in and watched tv. and stayed up. Calum was cuddling with Magan, Ashton cuddled Sandra, and Luke cuddled with Brittany. Phoenix sat next to me and fell asleep and I cuddled her.

I wish she knew how I felt.....

*My P.O.V.*

We were watching tv and cuddled with someone. I remeber falling asleep thinking about, if only he knew....
