Entry #17              xx/xx/xxxx

I remember how sometimes when I was very tired, or simply just falling asleep... Rather than my friend draped in darkness visiting me, I'd see a scene or picture in my head. Sometimes it'd be those weird deja vu dreams, where I see a snippet of some random unimportant scene and then a week or month later that exact scene I saw in my dreams comes true. Those were trippy whenever they happened, confusing even. However, those dreams I could recognize. The ones that really had me confused were ones that felt like memories but.. They had never happened. It felt like I knew the memories by heart, I could feel the emotions from myself whenever I went through them, and yet... I didn't recognize what was going on in the supposed memory at all.

I had these prominent memories of figures... It was strange, because I can now recognize them as steves. Though, there were only 7 colors of steves here and.. These memories of figures didn't match any of the steves I recognized. The two main steves that confused were one of all 7 colors. In these dream memories, or whatever they were.. He was like a friend to me. Knew me well, we seemed to get along quite well. But... it was the other one that confused me even more. A steve, but not of any color from the rainbow. No, they had normal skin like me. Though, their skin did look rather.. polished. Polished skin and these— these blue eyes that glowed. It seemed like me and my.. Rainbow friend fought him quite a lot in the memories I had.

Then, one day, I remember falling asleep to another one of these memory dreams. The rainbow colored steve was hovered over me, hugging me. They were crying. Speaking to me. Yet, when they spoke, I didn't hear anything. Only silence. I was only able to tell they had been speaking from the way their mouth moved, as they hugged me tightly. This dream was rather.. hazy. Everything blurred, and my vision blackening. However, I could see red. The red was growing. Spreading over my body. Red was smearing onto my rainbow friend. It was trickling onto the ground. Red blurs covering green. As my vision then blackened, the 'memory' had ended.

After that, I never had one of those fake dream memories again. Seems like that was the last one. As much as I attempted to see them again, I never did. I can only try to remember them from when I had encountered them in my dreams. Writing the weird encounters in this journal. Orange likes to call it a diary and tease me about it. He's tried to peep in it too, but.. I haven't let him. Kept it far away from him. If he reads all the stuff I've written, then he'll be worried for my own mental health. Especially with the page entries that I've used for venting some things..

"What's your favorite food?"

"Oh- I—-"

"What's your favorite color? Is it orange?? Oh, please tell me it's orange."

"Oh, um- That—-"

"Do you like gardening? If so, what's your favorite flower? I can get you some!"

"That's really kind of you, but—-"

"Sabre, right? Why are you called Sabre?"

"Oh, that's because—"

Cut off by another question from an Orange Steve. Not my Orange Steve to be more specific, but the many steves from this village. They were all bombarding me with questions all at once, jumping at me for answers. I didn't get the chance to finish answering one before getting cut off by more questions. I couldn't keep up. Too many questions at once. Though, it was nice seeing their excitement. At least none of them seemed rude or judging like I had dreaded them to be.. Though, all these questions were making me anxious. As I stepped back nervously.
