The hunt for the Princess had begun.

"Choose. You must choose."Arien asked the young man, Neji Hyuga.
'And here I thought I'd met the greatest of Hyuga during my generation..'
And when she was proven wrong, she was delighted. She laughed about it too, since her husband's pride was his eyes and the only eyes that rivaled the Uchiha's she found were the Hyuga's Byakugan.
So there was a great talent kneeling before her asking for power so he could raise his status to stand beside his princess.
'How romantic.'
Arien asked Neji again, what he would choose. "If your princess gave one order and the Hokage another who would you follow?" The young man kept his head bowed as if he were contemplating but she could sense his heart and knew he already had a choice.
"If I grant you this favour, I must know your answer. Now, Hyuga Neji I will not ask again. If you could serve only one Areayis or Konoha which would you choose?"

'Ever since I was a child I thought about my destiny and how I was destined for much greater things. I realise that now. My greater purpose.'
Finally Neji had broken free of the shackles of the main branch and he, who was just a shinobi climbed the ranks to a position suitable of finally touching her.
It was the only good thing he was thankful of in the war.
Laying the heads of fallen kings and throwing their crowns to her feet. Offering to her, the great chosen princess- carcasses of monsters he had defeated in her war he knelt.
He removed his blood soaked gloves so as not to soul her pure, white skin. He dared to look up to meet her eyes that even though were ebony black looked at him with stars in her eyes.
Her gleaming white hair like starlight and the crown upon her head. All were above him and he bowed his head. Gently as he could, Neji lowered his lips to kiss her foot.
It was the greatest sign of loyalty.
And he had stripped himself of everything and gave it all to her. Arien's question had finally been answered.
He had forsaken being a shinobi.
'I have a new purpose.'
You are my destiny. The destiny I chose.
