The lost lynx

ASH

EIJIS POV:

i grab a chair and sit down next to ash, as im looking at him im trying to stop the tears from spilling from my eyes, I see max start to grab a char and sit next to me i peer over at him trying so hard not to cry "w..what happened to ash" max sighed and glanced at ash with a sorry look then looked back to me "Sing found him in the library bleeding when he got a better look he saw that it was a stab wound, he could tell he didn't have much time and-" max stopped and looked at ash with a shocked expression i was confused he was speaking then next minute he stopped "eiji?" i hear a faint voice coming from next to me i looked over and i saw ash had opened his eyes.

Ashs pov:

i started to wake up to two voices as i open my eyes i see max talking but i guess he notices me as his face contorts int a shocked epression  i turn my head to see eiji "eiji?" i say quietly, as soon as i said that i saw his face light up he looks at me with his eyes scrunched "Ash what happened?" he mumbles as he starts to let out some tears. I sit up slowly trying to ignore the pain eiji deserves to know "all i can remember is sing giving me your letter and as i was reading it i realised i had to see you one last time" *cough* as i cough i cover my mouth to stop germs spreading as i take my hand away i see blood on my hand.

EIJIS POV:

as ash is talking he starts to cough but he hides his hand after he calms down "when i had realised that i got up and started running when i got stabbed and i went to the library and that's all i remember" oh ash i should never of left you, I grab his hand and squeeze it ever so slightly "your going to be ok ash im sorry i should never have left if i *hic* stayed then *hic* you wouldn't of  got stabbed" i cant help it anymore i start to cry uncontrollably "Hey hey look at me its not your fault" he says as he puts his hand up wiping my tears and cupping my face.

me ,ash and max were talking for hours until the nurse comes in "hello visiting times over" great i wish i could stay by his side forever but i cant. Me and max stand up and wave goodbye to ash but before i close the door i hear ash mumble "why couldn't i have just died" i guess he must of thought we were gone i debate whether saying something but knowing ash he will deny it.

ASH POV;

As eiji and max leaves i stare up at the ceiling "i wish i just died" i mumble while sighing. I look out the window to see that its now morning i guess i drifted to sleep being in a hospital sucks "i wonder how much longer i can keep it a secret" i whisper to myself as suddenly i start coughing repeatedly when iv finally calmed down i look down to see my hands covered in blood...
