The whole flat was shocked. The whole editorial of the local publication was shocked. Their most loved play critic had died in a car accident. Her partner, Anna, had tears running down her cheeks and could say no more than 'Gerda, my love'.

The funeral was strange and there were just a few people. The three other girls she had shared the flat with. Her partner. A few friends and actors and actresses with whom she had much contact. Her best friend, Willemijn, spoke a few words when the door opened. Two men, a lady and a lot of security entered the room where the funeral was held. Anna looked at them, the woman wore a somewhat large hat. All three sat down in the last row while security stood behind them. Anna sobbed, the last thing she wanted to worry about at the moment was Gerda's relatives. At last, just before the end, the door opened again and a larger female entered. She changed the whole atmosphere of the small white studio where the funeral took place. The chilly room that had become warm despite the small number of people suddenly felt chilly again. She changed her funeral.
