Kyla Stone picks up a red lipstick. "Is this my color?" Kyla asked the makeup assistant at Rosewood Mall
"Yeah, it matches your red top." she replied
"Thank you." said Kyla, as she payed for the lipstick
Kyla was now the captain of the cheer squad and is dating Noel Kahn.
Kyla and Hanna were the only people who stayed in touch after Alison went missing and Aria's dad took a sabbatical and they packed up and moved away to Iceland. Hanna stopped overeating and started to have a new hobby; shoplifting with her new bestie, Mona. Kyla knew all about Hanna's shoplifting habits, but never had any involvement.
Kyla noticed Hanna and Mona.
"Hey, H&M" said Kyla
Kyla and Hanna noticed Spencer, who was looking at clothes in the floor above.
"We'll be back." Hanna said to Mona
"I cannot believe Spencer Hastings actually has time to shop. I mean, you're interning for the mayor, taking classes at Hollis, and redoing the barn. And in your leisure moments, you Facebook and Tweet." Kyla joked
"You know me, I like to stay busy." Spencer replied
"It's called a summer vacay, Spence." Hanna joked
"You guys spent yours shopping and sunning." Spencer said, with a smile present on her face
"Tweet-tweet." Hanna said, humorously
Spencer's smile disappeared as she remembered Alison
"Did you see the paper today?" Spencer asked the two, with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Yeah." Hanna and Kyla replied
"She's gone, but she's everywhere." Spencer said
"I can't believe it's been a year." Kyla said, sadly
"Do you remember what Ali said that night, about our secrets keeping us close? I think it was the opposite." said Spencer
Hanna and Kyla noticed how the dynamic in the conversation between the trio suddenly became awkward.
"So! What's the occasion?" Kyla asked Spencer, in an attempt to change the way in which this conversation was heading
