What do I write about?
Be creative! Take a look at the awesome high school themed stories written by @leigh_ and @JustKaylay for some inspiration and then create your own real or fictional story about embracing what makes you unique, and not letting other people label who you are!
It’s all about finding confidence, shedding stereotypes, and throwing those labels out the window!
Remember, creativity is key, and grammar and spelling matter.
Submission Requirements:
- While we love reading stories from around the globe, only residents of the US are eligible to win physical prizing
- Entries can only be accepted in English
- Story must be between 500 and 1,500 words
- Story must be only one chapter (story part)
- Story must be marked as complete
- Story must be tagged #TheDUFFContest
- Story must be rated PG-13 or lower
- Must be a NEW story posted on your Wattpad profile
- Story must be posted between February 4, 2015 and February 15, 2015
- Only one entry per profile, please!
Voting and Judging:
The top 5 stories will be determined by Wattpad and the Grand Prize Winner will be determined by CBS Films
Dates:
Submissions via tagging will be accepted from the time of the contest announcement on Wednesday
February 4.
The closing date for submissions is 11:59pm EST on February 15.
The Finalists and Grand Prize Winner will be notified via the Wattpad messaging service and/or email on or about February 20, 2015.
Runner Up Prizing:
The 4 runners up will each receive a The DUFF prize pack!
