Chapter 4 -Kate

(Kate POV)

I walked in through the doors of the school and got hug attacked by Skye, Emma, and Rose. "Kate!" They yelled.

"You know I just saw you guys yesterday." I said.

"Yeah we know." Said Rose.

"Look! I found it!" Skye shouted showing me her guitar pick necklace.

"You found it!" I said laughing.

"Yea, in the gym. I must have left it there while I was changing" she said smiling brightly.

"Am I allowed to go put my stuff away now?" I asked. We laughed and walked over to my locker. I opened my locker but someone slammed it shut. Jack moved in front of my locker so I couldn't get my stuff.

"Hey there beautiful." Jack said. I raised my eyebrow.

"What you say?" I asked.

"I said hey there beautiful."

"Jack if you don't move away from my locker I will hurt you." Jack laughed.

"I would like to see you try." I looked at my nails. "I shouldn't your messed up face is already ruining my complexion." The kids around us laughed at my joke. Jack glared at me.

"Messed up? Messed up!? You wanna know who's messed up? You are! You and your friends are all messed up."

"We ain't messed up. We're better looking than you. Now quit being a hater and move out of my way."

"No I'm good." I grabbed his arm and ripped my nails across his skin. It started bleeding slowly

"If you want to fight you will have to wait till after school. Basketball course by the old library." Jack looked at me like I was crazy.

"Fine. I will see you there after school." He finally said. Jack moved away from my locker hitting my shoulder and winking at me. "Good luck losing." He whispered. I turned to face my girls.

"Please tell me that his ugly body didn't ruin mine!" I said. We laughed, grabbed our books and headed off to class. We entered our first class 5 minutes early to get the seats in the very back. Cyrus was sitting in the middle.

She whispered something to her friends and tripped Rose. Skye and Emma were at Rose's side. I sent a cold look at Cyrus. Emma and I helped Rose up and we walked to the back of the classroom. Skye knocked Cyrus's books off of her desk then walked to the back.

"What a jerk." Emma said.

"Are you alright Rose?" Skye asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." Rose said. I hugged Rose.

"Are you sure your okay?" I asked. Rose nodded. The bell rang for class to start and kids finished walking into the class room. Jack and his friends were the last kids to enter the class room. They sat in the last four chairs in front of us. I giggled at the marks I had left, they had scabbed over by now. I kicked Jack's chair and the girls laughed. He shot me an angry look. I smirked and looked to the front of the class just as Mr. Fredric came into the room. Yeah I liked Mr. Fredric as a teacher but some girls in this school fall head over heels for him. Skye doesn't really care for his class, so she is on her iPhone the whole time. Emma and Rose draw random pictures.

Mr. Fredric gave us a day to work on other homework. I pulled out my iPhone and looked on the Internet for news on One Direction. My phone did a small vibrate indicating that I got a text.

I looked at the text from Skye and clicked the link that was there. It brought my Internet up. I looked at Skye.

"Look at it." She mouthed. I looked back at my screen and there was an article about One Direction and some girls. There was a picture too. I opened my text screen and sent Skye a text saying, 'Hey that's us!'

'Yeah Ik!'

"Rose!" I whispered over to her.

"What?" She whispered back. I showed her the phone and she pulled it out. Skye told Emma to take hers out too. Skye sent the link to both of them and they looked at the picture of us.

We walked up to the front of the class room and asked Mr. Fredric if we could go to the library to get a book. We walked out of the classroom and quickly went to the back of the Library.

I tried to call Zayn's cell but it kept saying that the caller I called didn't exist.

"I'm not getting anything. How about you guys?" Skye asked.

"Nothing." I said. Emma and Rose shook their heads. We walked back to class and finished the rest of the day wondering why the guys didn't answer. I was supposed to go and beat Jake up but my friends dragged me to the beach. I stayed on the beach while the others went into the ocean.

I go in every once in a while but I like land better. If I can't touch it with my feet I refuse to go.

My friends decided it be funny to drop me in the water. They picked me up and threw me in the water. I freaked out. 1: cause it was cold. 2: cause I couldn't touch the ground. When I finally could I glared at my friends and ran out as quickly as possible. "You bloody bastards." I said shivering. We laughed and Emma brought me a towel.

"Come and join us." Emma said.

"No!" I yelled.

"Please?" Skye asked.

"Bite me!" I said. Rose took my arm and bite me. "Ouch!" I yelled.

"You said Bite you so I bite you." Rose said. I glared at her and rubbed my arm. I pushed her and ran,

"Your it!" I yelled. We laughed and played tag till 7:00. Emma brought me and Skye to the school cause that's where my car was. Skye had walled so I offered to drive Her home since we practically lived next to each other. When we got home she decided to spend the night.

She fell asleep to exhaustion on the couch in my room. I laid in my bed starring at the ceiling but finally went to bed at 12 in the morning.
