Chapter 5 -Emma

Emma's POV.

After I dropped Skye and Kate off at the school, I drove Rose home.

When I got home I decided to text Louis cell again. So I texted them 'Hey! Are you guys alright?'. I hit send and got no response.

When Kate had asked earlier if we heard anything, I had pretended to text the guys. I lied and told her I didn't get a response.

*1 Hour Later*

I got a text. It was from Louis, it said 'Yeah, we're fine and u?' I texted back 'Me 2. I was just wondering, because we couldn't get a hold of you earlier.'

'No, we're fine. Did you see it? -L'

'What? -E'

'The picture. -L'

'Oh yeah. I did, what should I tell the others? -E'

'You've gotta lie.-L'

'What if they don't believe me? -E'

'Make something up, but whatever you do don't tell them the truth ok, and you can't tell them we texted either, ok. -L'

'Ok, got it. Bye talk to you tomorrow. -E' Then I fell asleep and dreamt of many lies.

The next morning I went to school like normal. The girls stopped me at the lockers, and asked me, ”Do you think they gave us false numbers?’ I replied, “I don’t know.” Then they said, “Oh, ok.”

We walked to our separate classes then. I walked onto Mr. Roy’s class and sat down in the back. Jack came in and walked right up to me. Jack said, “Where was you friend yesterday?” "I don't know. Probably getting ready to kill you."

"Ok, well tell her I want a rematch."

"Fine, now back off or i'll punch you and you'll have to fight me." I make my hand into a fist, tempted to punch his face in at this very second.

"Fine, today after school. Be there all of you or pay." Then Jack stormed away and sat down with his friends.

At noon, I got a text from Louis, 'Hey, sup? Did you figure something out?'

I replied, 'Almost give me a sec.'

Then I looked up from my phone at the girls. They were staring at me. Rose asked, "Emma who are you texting?" I replied, "Nobody, I'm making a list of things I still need to pack, and making notes for our trip."

"Ok, I guess we'll believe you. Does anyone else need to make a list of things they still need. If so we could go shopping later." Skye replied.

"Actually, Kate has to fight Jack after school today." I told everyone.

"Wait What! Are you serious? Nothing like telling me at the last minute." Kate protested to me.

"Yeah, He talked to me in class. Don't worry though I have a plan." I told Kate.

They all looked at me then turned to their phones and started making lists. I turned back to my phone quickly texted Louis. 'Its covered. They don't know a thing.' Then I started making a list and when the bell rang we all went to class.

After school we headed out to the parking lot. Jack had his friends and I had my friends there. He said, "Kate you and me. One-on-one."

I replied, "Jack lets settle this once and for all. You versus me. If I win you leave us all alone. If you win you can pick on us one time each day until graduation. Does that sound fair?"

"Yeah, I guess so. Sure. I'm sensing more of a challenge if I were to fight you so bring it on."

So the fight begain. I dodged every punch he threw. He dodged a few of mine. He got hit then I got hit. I had a feeling I might loose, then I thought of our trip, and I knocked Jack out. I then turned to his friends and said, "Tell him when he wakes up that I win and he will always be a looser." They just starred, then they nodded, crowding his crumpled form that was on the cement. Then me and the girls went to the Nandos to celebrate our awesome victory.
