"Our emblem is the serpent, the wisest of creatures; our house colors are emerald green and silver, and our common room lies behind a concealed entrance down in the dungeons." One of the prefects explained everything, he had long blonde hair. Regulus told us his name was Lucius Malfoy and he was dating his cousin Narcissa who was walking right next to him. They showed us the little hidden scratches on one of the floor tiles marking the entrance to the common room and the password'Pureblood'. We entered the common room, the lake above us, a beautiful soft green light decorating the walls and floors. "As you can see, the windows look out into the depths of the Hogwarts lake. We often see the giant squid swooshing by and sometimes more interesting creatures." Malfoy continued talking. We were dismissed to familiarize ourselves with our dorm rooms, Regulus, Rajan, and Dominic promising they'd wait for me for breakfast tomorrow as we said our goodnights.

Entering the dorm room, I saw the four beds; and three girls inside admiring the place as well. The dorm was huge, so much that we had queen-sized, black four-poster beds that had emerald curtains and silver vine details, black sheets with grey fluffy throw peoples, and expensive fabrics. Grey rugs that contrast the dark wood floors and a small dresser for each of us. Two dark wood vanities and one big chandelier in the middle of the room. Each of our trunks was in front of our designated beds. My bed was the one beside the window, that's where my trunk was. Clear E. F. P.  letter carved into the leather, Elizabeth Fay Potter, my dad insisted on the second name so I had both parents' initials. Each bed was lightly touched by the glowy green light the lake produced. I turned my head to watch the other girls with who I'll be sharing the dorm. We were a small class, only around 20-25 Slytherins this year. I asked Narcissa who was the prefect in charge of helping us about it, and she told me they had four people per-room rule. Many of the house's parents paid extra some years for the Slytherin students to have such luxuries.

The first girl in the room had raven black hair like me although hers was fully straight and didn't have the waves that adorned my hair. The second and third girls shared chestnut brown hair colors. One with dark chocolate brown curly hair and the other had a lighter shade with golden highlights and straight hair.

"Hello," I greeted gently and tilted my head at the three girls who turned around at my voice.

"Hello, Elizabeth Potter, correct?" Asked the raven-haired girl.

"Correct" I assured her. "I don't intend to sound rude, but I was quite distracted at the sorting ceremony. What is your name?"

"Alexandria Carrow, my bed is next to yours." She said.

"I'm Loretta Rosier. I saw you with my cousin earlier, Rajan. Oh, and my bed is the one in front of yours." The one with light brown hair spoke. She had semi-tanned skin and freckles.

"And you?" I asked the remaining girl.

"My name is Andrina Yaxley. My bed is the one diagonal from yours, my sister is engaged with Dolohov's brother."

I nod at her. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. Out of pure curiosity, how are you and Rajan related?" I ask Loretta.

"Oh don't worry, my cousin is engaged with his brother too and our families are very close. We aren't really blood-related cousins, but we might as well be." She explained.

I nodded in understanding and walked towards my bed. Jumping on top of it, leaving all my grace behind. I feel like I'm a princess in an enchanted world and I just met the rest of the princesses in the princess school. My exhaustion is definitely getting the best of me. "Umm, Elizabeth? We are going to the common room for a while, want to come?" Andrina asked shyly from her bed. I smiled at the request and nodded before slipping out of bed and following the girls "outside."
