hogwarts resorting

first day

in the next morning harry and draco were woken up by blaise. they lay closely embraced in bed. blaise smiled. both were confused and slowly harry remembered what happened that night and how good it felt to be in draco's arms.

they got ready for the classes and went into the great hall for breakfast.
harry ate very little. draco decided to talk to hermione and ron about it, because he didn't know what to do. he didn't like harry former, but he realized that he liked harry a lot after all.

harry and draco had almost the identical timetable, so they both went to their first lesson together. potions with snape. they sat together at a table and packed out their things. snape came into the room and said that they would make amortentia, one of the strongest love potions. harry and draco started to put the ingredients into the kettle. their potion got perfect. snape asked them to smell the potion and tell the class what they smell. draco started.

"potter is standing next to me and his smell is stronger than the potion's smell. go away!" harry stepped aside a little. "i still smell him. his perfume is too strong." now harry smelled the potion. "i smell cologne. oh, it's draco." now both realized. the whole class started laughing and both blushed.

the lesson was over and everybody left the room. they went a long time through the corridors but they said nothing. draco had freetime, harry had quidditch training.
draco was on his way to find ron and hermione. he found them in the library.

"hey", draco said to them. "what do you want, malfoy?", ron asked.
"I wanted to talk with you about harry. he doesn't eat much, almost nothing and he had nightmares. i'm really concerned about him. why doesn't he eat anything?"
hermione looked sceptical. she couldn't imagine that draco really cares about harry. but then she looked in his eyes and saw that he was really concerned.
"we don't know either why he doesn't eat but we've noticed it too. he said that the nightmares had stopped but maybe he lied. i think it's about cedric's death", hermione replied.
"tonight he screamed so loud that I thought he was in danger. do you know how i could help him?" "we don't know how to help him, malfoy", ron said. "maybe we should talk to professor lupin."

as soon as he said that, they were on their way to lupin's office. they knocked at the door and it opened. he looked questioning. "how can i help you? you can come in."
"it's about harry", hermione started. " he hardly eats anything and he is clearly not doing well. we don't know how to help him."
"I didn't talk to him much the past months. he is very reserved and doesn't talk to anybody about the thing with cedric. I think it's weighing on him a lot and it would do him good to talk to someone about it", lupin started. when he wanted to continue talking, harry came in. "i've been looking all over for you guys, what are you doing here?", harry asked. they looked at him frightened.
remus said: "nothing harry, everything is good. how are you?"
"i'm fine, why?" hermione started: "harry, we are all really worried about you. didn't you say that your nightmares had stopped? malfoy told us, that..."
"i'm fine, okay? stop worrying about me. and yes, i lied, but you really don't have to care about that because it's really none of your business!", harry shouted.

he left the room and slammed the door behind him. draco ran after him.
they faced each other and looked in the other's eyes.
"wow, his eyes are really grey", harry thought. "his eyes are greener than grass", draco thought at the same time. both closed their eyes and started kissing.
ron, hermione and remus stepped quietly out of the classroom and looked at them.
they were smiling because everyone knew by now that they smelled each other in the amortentia.
they stopped kissing, started smiling and looked to the side, where the others stood. harry and draco were embarrassed but they were happy.

later, when they were back to their dorm, blaise also knew that they both kissed and were in a relationship now. blaise went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and draco and harry kissed each other again. at exactly this moment snape came in.
"tomorrow a new bed will come to your room, so you don't have to share anymore. so you'll have to deal with that until tomorrow. but as I see you don't have a problem with it", snape said coldly and looked at them. he turned around with a swing and left the dorm dramatically.

blaise came out of the bathroom. "you are so cute together. you are really a perfect match."
they all laid into their beds and harry and draco cuddled together. harry felt draco's hand slide under his shirt and gently rub his belly. they fell asleep fast and harry dreamed absolutely nothing.

on the next morning they were woken up from blaise rough.
"stand up, in thirty minutes school is starting."
