Dancing In The Flames - A Draco Malfoy Love Story

Evanora woke late, as it was a Sunday. Draco was gone. She got up and dressed and made her way downstairs.

"This photo here is of Evanora's first birthday"

Everyone was sat on the sofas while Severus was showing them Evanora's baby pictures.

"Dad! Stop!"

"But look you were so cute!"

"Dad!"

Severus got up with the album.

"Oh and look! These ones were taken during bath time!"

"Dad!"

Evanora ran up and jumped on her Dad's back as an attempt to grab the album.

"Oh come on! I'm sure they'd love to see the pictures"

"We really would"

Fred and George said while laughing uncontrollably.

"If you show them I'll tell Mum about the time you set a fire in the kitchen!"

She jumped down.

"You wouldn't dare"

"Oh yes I would!"

Severus handed her the album, but he quickly showed everyone a few photos. Just then Verana walked in with a box of videotapes.

"Mum! Remember the time when dad said I lost control of my powers and set the kitchen on fire? Well it wasn't me! It was him! He forgot to take our pizza out of the oven!"

"How dare you! Well Evanora snuck in the house at 4 am once and never told you!"

Evanora gasped.

"Dad! Well did you know that Dad was the one who ate the gingerbread the day before Christmas?"

"Evanora drove her motorcycle onto your plants by mistake and ruined them!"

"Dad!-"

"Guys stop! We'll talk about this later. For now,  I have the videos"

"No please continue we want to hear this"

Draco said. Everyone was laughing at what Severus and Evanora had said about one another.

"I have old home videos. Let's watch them"

The first one played Evanora was about a year old and she was sitting playing with some toys.

"Oh this was the first time she unintentionally lit something on fire"

Severus said. Everyone continued watching.

"Daddy look at the doll! Look!"

The little Evanora on the screen held up the doll.

"Yes it's very pretty sweetheart. But- did you colour on her face?"

"Yes look daddy now she's pink!"
