Promise?

Chapter 2

We made eye contact. It lasted all of 1 second before me and Harry looked away. I was so nervous i thought I could throw up. I was shaking. Surprised as ever Draco took notice. He look at me but couldn't figure out what had made me finally stop talking.

"Johnson?" He said in a hushed voice making sure no one heard him. " you alright?" He knew she wasn't but comforting people wasn't a trait he had. He didn't know what else to say.

"Shit" i thought, I needed to cover it up and fast.

"Yeah I just feel sick, probably cause of that stupid fucking pumpkin juice" i said shooting him a weak smile. He wasn't dumb he knew that I was lying. "Alright whatever" he said. I avoided looking up the whole class. I knew my eyes would draw to the boy across class.

Near the end of the class, Slughorn told them to get their stuff all packed up. Then Malfoy spoke again.

"Are you coming to the Slytherin party tonight?"

She look up confused. Shit she totally forgot that it was Slytherins turn to host the party this year.

"Mhm" she glanced quickly over his shoulder to try and spot the black haired boy.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

He turned to look where she had been and noticed Potter with his back to them.

" you've got to be joking" he said practically laughing. " you fancy Potter? Out of all people"

" I don't fancy him Malfoy" she said looking him in the eye. " lower your god damn voice"

" It's either you fancy him or something happens over the summer and now your afraid to talk to him"

She just looked at him. Blank.

"Didn't u stay at the Weasley's for 2 weeks this summer?"

Not knowing what to say. I just rolled my eyes trying to act annoyed. Out of all people I didn't want Malfoy to know. He would either kill him with his bare hands or laugh at me and call her a whore. No In between. We started walking out of class not saying a word and then sadly the blonde boy started to talk again.

"Quite pathetic, I thought your standard would be a little and especially for you out of all people"

"Oh I'm sorry Malfoy" she said sarcastically. " where you expecting me to ask you to fuck out of all people. Plus you have literally not a clue as to what happened"

I look at him and gave him a dumb look. But he said nothing and just smirked and walked away. I hurried behide him not wanting to be left behind. I griped onto Draco'a arm hearing his voice. He looked at me.

"Johns-"

"Please don't mention it, I'll explain later"

He nodded and rolled his eyes and she got lost in her thoughts again while Draco dragged her through the hallways to the next class.

Flash back to the summer

Sitting around the fire at the burrow with Fred, George, Hermoine, Ron and Harry and Ginny . She sat next to Harry quite close. They had been drinking...

"Alright not it to go get more fire wood" Ron said laughing

"I'll go, you lazy ass, leave it all to the girl with barely no muscle" i said joking.

"I'll come help you" Harry said

"Alright" I smiled at that.

They walked around to the front and to the little shed that Fred, George and his dad built years ago. Soon i had tripped over a dammed shovel.

"Fuck it's so dark, stupid piece of shit" I said laughing, along with Harry joining the laughter. He went to pull me up but by my surprise he had been way to drunk to pull me up and i had been to drunk to lift myself up. He fell on top of me and we both laughed even harder.

"Get off you twat" i said still laughing.

"Come onnn" he said but he's toned sounded dark.

"What? Harry get off-"

I blakout.

4:48 am

She left without saying good bye.

End of flash back

Back into the real world she heard Draco yell at a 1st year to move out of his way. She had then realize she was still holding onto Malfoy. She let go fast and was embarrassed. He never let people touch him unless it was his choice. He hadn't said anything though. She guessed he saw how stressed she was. Soon they reach the other 3 and she let go on him and they all headed to the next class.
