I panic as I feel my bald head with both of my hands. This was actually happening. I was really a wii character.
I tried to remember what had happened before I landed in this place.
Well, I remember turning on my TV, going onto my wii and clicking Wii Sports Resort, I then remember clicking swordplay.... and the television was glowing at me, begging me to press on swordplay showdown.
Then it hit me.
The game brought me here so I could finally meet Matt.
I had looked up to Matt my entire life. His skills were through the roof and he was so powerful.
I even bought this.
I guess you could say I am a pretty big fan.
I remembered all the times I had previously played this game, and all the steps I went through, but I could never find Matt.
He never would show up.
I would pace around my room all day, wondering why he didn't show up for me out of all people.
But what if.... I was chosen? What if I was special? Why else would I be placed inside the game?
There was only one way to find out.
I looked around at my surroundings, looking for a bridge, the entrance to the first map. This map was fairly easy for me, the warriors fighting me were not very advanced.
There it was!
I saw the wooden poll that marked the bridge out of the corner of my eye, and ran toward it, smirking. I could do this! Matt needs me! I may not know what it is, but it must be important!
~~~
By the time my slow legs reached the bridge, it was high noon, the sun shining bright in my face as it reflected off my bald head. I took one step forward and felt a push beneath my feet.
Then the sirens went off.
Crap, this is where it starts. The warriors will be coming soon....
I squinted my eyes as a saw a group of 5 green soldiers, running towards me. They kind of reminded me of green beans... with legs.
The green soldiers were the weak ones. They could be knocked out with one bonk of a sword, no worries.
As they got closer, I noticed an orange soldier behind them.
These soldiers were intermediate. They still only have one heart, just better armor , but they would hit me occasionally if i wasn't being careful.
Enough pondering, focus!
I held my sword up to my chest as the soldiers got near me, making sure to block myself in case any of them decided to strike right away.
The group of five greens made a half circle around me.
"Well well well, look who we have here?" said one of them, named Jake.
I stayed silent, not wanting to sound cocky.
yet.
I stared at Jake and the others for a few seconds, then winked at them.
swoosh
I took them all out in one hit, easy.
I stepped onto the wooden bridge, hearing it creek beneath my feet. Then I felt a wave of pain throughout my entire body. It felt like I was getting electrocuted.
I looked up, shocked and saw that Katherine, one of the orange soldiers had taken one of my lives well I was staring at the bridge. I glared at her and wanted to flick her off, only then remembering that I didn't have fingers.
I smacked her with the sword, accidentally hitting her off the bridge... oops :)
After a few more minutes of fighting greens and oranges, I had reached the end of the bridge. I knew from experience that there were no red soldiers on this stage.
The red soldiers had two hearts, they were the second best and usually would appear towards the end, assisting the boss who would wear black armor and use a purple sword.
I paid attention to my surroundings, as I saw the boss of this stage approaching.
Cole.
Cole wore these shades with a yellow tint, I'm pretty sure he is full of himself, he thinks they make him look cool but in reality they make him look like a 40 year old dad.
Cole approached me and I could see him raising his eyebrow beneath his shades.
"What, have a problem my dude?" I asked, remembering how I looked.
Cole stayed silent, probably thinking I was trying to distract him by talking.
I broke the silence by swiping my sword at him, taking away one of his hearts.
He frowned at me and made a growl sound.
I laughed as I hit him on the side with my sword again, this was way too easy.
Cole knew he was done for, so he used his last moments to insult my appearance.
"Where is your hair man? Did you lose it or something?" he snickered.
"No, I shaved it off you idiot, and before you speak, think to yourself, should I be insulting other people when I look like an old man?"
And after that I wiped the smirk off his face as I smacked him in the head with my sword, watching him fall to the ground.
And with that, the victory music started to play and huge letters formed in front of me
Stage Cleared.
