Chapter 3

Carter's POV

The bell indicating that the period before lunch is over. I gather my books and walk out of the science lab. My first day and I already want school to be over. I go to my locker and put my books away before proceeding to the cafeteria. I walked in and scanned the room for Hannah and Gianna. I instantly found then sitting next to two good looking boyfriends, but then I see a tall guy with blonde hair. Suddenly he turns around and I notice it was the guy looking at me earlier in the screaming teacher's classroom. I walk up to the table and Gianna introduces me to everyone.
"And this is Matt" she introduces. I say hi and go get my lunch. When I come back the only seat left is near Matt so I sat near him. He looks over to me.
"Hey how do you like it here"Matt asks.
"Good other than the home room teacher. I think she broke her hand on desk" I say with furrowed eyebrows. He laughs.
"Get used to it." He replies. We continued to talk throughout the day about all kinds of stuff. How girls have it harder than boys, about Bruce Jenner's transformation into a girl, even about one directions cheek bones. I can't help but to feel this feeling that isn't exactly a friendly one nor a bad one. Before the end of the day we exchanged numbers.
I also met this girl named Lisa. She is pretty and I think I like her a little bit. We exchanged numbers to. After I walked her to her bus I went on my bus and thought about her. Her chocolate eyes, brown hair, and... Different personality. I think I'm gonna ask her out tomorrow.

But I also can't stop thinking about Matt either.
