The kiss

"Joey wake up" I opened one of my eye and saw Anna

. She is like one of the most nicest house keepers that My dad has hired so far.

"Alright" I opened my eyes to adjust the brightness of the light and sat on my bed.

"I'll be downstairs" she said smiling that her eyes twinkles.

"ok". I just sat there dazed, stuck there looking at my desk zoned out.

"Snap" Eddie said popping the P".

I barely noticed him coming in, "what do you want" I ask tiredly "nothing" he said laughing and walking out of the room.

After Eddie left I plopped back to my bed and think where should I get some breakfast before, heading to Carmen's house.

"sweetie come down stairs" I forced my head up to see who it was.

"Dad" I said to him.

"yes" he said raising his brows.

"never mind".

"come down and eat breakfast" he said walking down the stairs that made his words fade away.

I got up changed into a white crop top, blue shorts, and left my hair loosely behind me.

Before getting out of my room I got my phone and my baby blue hand bag and headed to the bathroom, buzz buzz my phone kept ringing.

I ignored it and went brushing my teeth, pee, wash my hands, and went downstairs.

"good morning" I said cheerfully.
"I'm not eating right now" I said closing the door behind me with my key dangling around my lanyard, without even letting my parents answer.

I jump into my car and drove off. Passing through each plaza this store caught my eyes 'in and out burgers' I had never ever been there but Lia has told me how good the burgers and fries they make there so I decided to order something from the drive through.

"Number 5 combo" I said leaning to the machine.

"What kind of drink"

"Mtn dew" I replied while driving up to the window.

"Your total would be $9.99" She says reaching out for my money.

I got my food and got a sip of Mtn Dew before driving away.

I haven't checked on my phone since when I was at the bathroom so I decided to check it. 5 miss calls from Ashton, 3 voicemail, and 4 messages all from him.

"Holy" I mutter to myself. Carmen's house was a few block away so I got there in no time. I got off my car and knocked on the door politely.

"Hey Joey"Carmen said pulling me into a hug.

"hey where's your brother" I said taking off my shoes.

"oh, Ashton he in his room" she replied.

"hey joey" a voice interrupted me from talking to Carmen.

"Brent" I said surprised walking to him giving a 'cheek kiss'.

"I gotta go enjoy your alone time" I said chuckling before heading upstairs. I went to Ash's room and knocked on his door. On my third knock he finally opened the door, "what sup" he said pulling me into a hug.
As I got in his room he told me to sit anywhere and make myself comfortable.

"joey I've gotta tell you something" he said with an shy but serious face.

"what" I said curiously

"I.......I....." he said stuttering.

"If your not gonna speak I'm gonna leave" I responded impatiently twisting the knob and opened the door.

"Wait joey" Ashton yelled from behind and got ahold of my wrist.

"what do you want anyways" I yelled impatiently.

Ashton cooed my temper down and brought me back to his room. He cupped my face and crash his lips onto mine. I didn't even know what was going on so I just kissed him back.
My stomach was full of butterflies, the kiss was short but we pulled apart. "I love you" he says looking at be in the eyes.

"Sorry Ash, it's just that everything has happened really quick and please give me some time".

I grabbed my phone before rushing downstairs, and asked Carmen if she could come over tonight.

"Yea gurl, what time doe" she said while Brent slides his hands to her waist.

"7:00 tonight" I said in a hurry getting outside.

It was still early 12:45 in the morning what else can I do. As soon as I got home I received a text from Ashton
*I love you*.

I closed my eyes and thought if Ashton was a right choice but I couldn't bring myself to do it. 7:00 rolled by fast that Carmen was already knocking at the door, I told Anna to get the door for me.

"Carmen hurry up" I said yelling from my room.

"ok ok" she said breathing for air. She locked the door behind and sat at the edge of my bed.

"ok look today I went to your house because during Friday Ashton asked me to come so I did"

I said pausing for a bit and continued.

"I went upstairs and then he kissed me and said how much he loved me, So I told him I needed some time" I said pausing again for breath.

"No way Ashton literally kissed you Omg Omg" she started fangirling.

"But the problem is that I love Ashton in another way like a brother and sister way, I've treated him like my brother nothing more" I said catching my breath once again.

"so I wanted you to come because since he's your brother I want you to tell him and I hope you understand" I said almost crying, "and this is our secret" I added.

Carmen nodded and hugged me."alright, I gotta go Joey" she said standing up.

"call when me after you tell him" I said.

Carmen went downstairs and left. I got in my Mac and went on Netflix for an hour and went downstairs for dinner.

"so you rather not have breakfast today huh" my dad said questioning me.

"I went to in and out burger for breakfast and then went to Carmen's house" i replied back.

I ate a little and went back upstairs to my room. I wasn't hungry, I couldn't eat, I just kept thinking about the kiss, the kiss. I went to take a hot shower to take away the kiss scene out of my mind.

After the hot shower I blow dried my hair and did what I normally do in there.

When I got everything done I went to my room and just sank back down on my pillow and covered myself in the blanket wanting the day to end.

I finally felt droopily and went to sleep.
