K. J. Summers Academy was standing right infront of me. The huge stone building decorated with plants and vines.

A big board that read, "PIAA DISTRICT 3 BOYS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP" and another, "PIAA DISTRICT 3 GIRLS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP" plus several other championship boards for lacrosse, football, volleyball, and other sports.

My luggage was heavy as my mom and dad trailed behind me.

"Well, are you ready sweetheart?" Mom smiled.

No.

"Yes... I'm a little nervous, Mommy." I said,  my purple bags never looked so dull before.

"Don't be nervous! You are going to have fun, and meet new people, I am so excited!"

Oh. Yeah. She's excited, while I am PARANOID.

I was already a week late when I first got enrolled.

As we stepped into the office, there was a very young woman with orange hair and grey eyes at the desk. "Hi! How may I help you?"

Her face was coated with makeup.

"Yes, hi, I am Melissa Nadan, and here's Kalil Nadan, we enrolled her last week." My mother said in her most sweetest, professional voice. I looked over at my stepfather who held a smirk which made me silently laugh. This place was too quiet to laugh out loud.

"Ah! Yes, Mr. Riegel will see you now." She pressed a button and a door opened automatically. My mom motioned for me to walk, and I did.

There through the door was another waiting area and office, where this time there was a heavily madeup blonde at the desk.

"Please have a seat, Miss Nadan, Mr. Riegel will be out shortly." As I went to go sit down, a man came in through the same door.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Nadan, can I offer you anything to drink?"

My mom asked for coffee with creamer, my dad asked for tea, and the man turned to me, "And, you, Miss?"

"Can I just have some water." I answered.

"Of course,"

In a matter of two minutes, our drinks came and I gulped my water down within two seconds. I was so nervous. My stomach scrunched and tied itself into a tiny ball and I felt all that liquid and the sliced avocado I ate for breakfast start to rise. Please. No.

"Mrs. Nadan?" A deep voice said. The voice was lightly accented.

My mom rised as did my father and I.

We walked into a office that was big with the usual office stuff.

Mr. Riegel was a European man with curly brown hair and blue eyes.  He shook my hand as he gestured for all of us to sit.

"So, Kalil is it?"

I nod.

"Very nice name," he smiles.

I murmured a quick thank you as he opened a folder.

"Okay, well first, I just want to congratulate you on your previous honor roll recognitions and your gpa of 3.9, that is awesome." He smiled, my mom smiled as well.

"Thank you." I smile politely.

"So, what to expect here… well, you should expect to learn, first of all. I was notified you are apart of the Creative Student Program here, so you should expect to experience a lot of skills in art, music, and also writing. I do not tolerate bullying, fighting, violence, or anything like that… you will most likely be expelled. However, viewing your school records, I see you didn't have any problems with that type of stuff. However, you did receive a few consequences for tardiness to class." I nodded. "You have 6 times to be tardy, after that, it will result in other things. Usually, tardy consequences aren't anything serious, but it will be important to try to stay on-time. You will meet with your counselor who will assign you your room, and give you your schedule…  any questions?"
