It's been over a week, and Clementia and I haven't spoken a word. And I guess Clementia and Kye talked it through since I see them holding hands all day long at school.
Surprisingly, Jin and I became friends. So I haven't been as lonely as I expected.
"So, dinner?" Jin asked as she sat down with her tray.
"Where do you want to go?" We have been grabbing dinner and hanging out together a lot.
"I don't know, something like hamburgers? Or just pasta."
"I don't really care. It just has to be edible." I tossed my lunch around on the plate with my fork.
"Then let's go to the mall and look around or so."
"Sure, I'll pick you up at 6."
We laughed and smiled as we talked about anything that came into our heads. But I couldn't help but keep glancing toward where Clementia sat. Since the incident we haven't talked one word and now she started to sit with Kye, and Kye sat at the typical jock's table.
"Don't let it get on your nerves, Lev." It seemed like Jessica noticed. I told Jessica everything and she seemed to understand how I felt. Also, she told me that her feelings towards me were light and that she didn't have a crush on me any more.
"I just," I sighed. "I'm trying not to, but I don't know. I don't want to forgive her but at the same time I wish she was laughing with us right now. I don't even know if she even feels sorry."
"I'm pretty sure that she's eating herself with guilt." I looked up from my food that I was picking on.
"How do you know?" If Clementia felt guilt then she would have at least sent a message saying sorry.
"I can read it in her eyes. Her eyes are saying sorry and wanting forgiveness."
"She doesn't even look at me." I gave Clementia a glance.
"Exactly, not looking into your eyes is one of the behaviors that people who have guilt inside of themselves do. She did try to speak to you in person a few times but she didn't seem to have the courage." Jin explained.
"Oh."
"Just give her some time, she'll come around. And I'm not saying that you must forgive her. It's up to you, either you let her back in your life or you cut her out."
I didn't reply to Jin.
"But I must say, make sure she apologizes, okay?" Jin held her fork to me with a joking tone.
"Okay." I smiled, noticing that she was trying to brighten up the mood.

Jin and I have been shopping at the mall since neither of us were hungry at the moment.
"So, which one looks better? Number 1? Or number 2?" Jin asked as she held two button up shirts.
"They both look the same." I groaned.
"What do you mean? They are totally different!"
"Both of them are white button up shirts!" I exclaimed as I widened my eyes.
"No, number 1 has a pocket on the left chest and number 2 has a pocket on each chest. They both hold different looks!"
"And so? What difference is that?"
"What do you mean 'what difference is that'! How can you not see it? Ugh, boys."
"Whatever, you're overreacting. Just buy the cheaper one and let's go get food. I'm getting hungry."
"Okay let me go pay, I'm getting both of them."
"What a bitch." I whispered under my breath.
"Huh, what was that?" Jin turned around.
"N-nothing." I quickly said.
"You're kinda sus." She said as she looked for the cashier.
Waiting for Jin, I just looked around the store to see what other clothes they had. But instead of finding something interesting, I found an interesting couple.
Clementia and Kye.
What were they doing here?
"I don't know." A voice said over my shoulder. Did I say that out loud?
"Fuck me!" I jumped.
"Sorry but I'm not attracted to you to fuck you." Jin laughed as she held out her shopping bag. "Ready to go."
"Don't do that shit again."
"I'll think about it." She teased. "Come on, let's go already."

"And so?" I asked as I munched down my fries.
"Did you not hear me?"
"Actually, I wasn't paying attention." Jin has been talking about some drama from the girls bathroom, which I couldn't really catch up. There were so many her's and she's.
"I don't even know how I'm friends with you." Jin joked.
"Me too." I rolled my eyes dramatically but stopped when I saw a couple come into the diner. Automatically, I turned my head towards the other side.
It didn't take too long for Jin to notice too. "Out of all these places to eat in this mall they came here? Seriously?" She groaned. "Hey, don't hide. It's not like you're the one who did something bad."
"I know. I don't know why I'm hiding either." I mentally groaned. I sucked in a big breath and sat with my back straight and proud. "They're coming this way, shit, uh act normal."
"Act normal? What do you mean, we are normal! We aren't duck-people, or some-" Jin argued.
"That's not- ugh, forget it." I groaned and made my mouth full. As I chewed I couldn't help but notice that the waiter led Clementia and Kye to the table right next to ours. God really wasn't helping me.
The waiter took their orders and left with the words "I'll be back with your orders." As I watched the waiter leave Clementia started to talk, or should I say flirt. It was obvious that they were on a date.
Jin and I talked naturally trying to pretend that we didn't know the couple. And we gave each other signs that we should get out of this place as quickly as we can. But I doubted that, Jin's plate was nowhere close to being finished and neither was mine.
"Wait, hey! You're Lev, right?"
....
Fuck you Kye.
