COLE The Feeling of Falling

INT. MONASTERY FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER'S STUDY - DAY

Fade in on a shot of the hand of the FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER. We are many centuries in the past where Wu and Garmadon are still children, though Garmadon has been bitten by this point.

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER(VOICE) Although it's often easier to destroy, we must also rely on our ability to create.

He does the same hand motions as Wu from the previous episode, and an orb of light grows as he opens his hand.

Cut to a shot of young WU and GARMADON in awe at the glistening light.

WU Woah, what is that?

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER An elemental source of creation at its most pure and absolute state.

Gamadon holds his hand out, grabbing the ball of creating and bringing it towards himself to look at.

GARMADON What does it do? Can we use it to fight?

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER (laughs)Not everything needs to be used as a weapon. This element could only harmful to beings of pure destruction, of which there are none in our realm.

Garmadon seems disappointed. We can see the First Spinjitzu Master's hand close. As it does, the orb gets smaller in Garmadon's hand until it is completely gone.

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER Now, you boys try. Follow after me.

Though we can't see his face, the First Spinjitzu Master does the hand motions, and the brothers mimic him.

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER Good. Now open your hands.

As the First Spinjitzu Master opens his hand, the light appears again. As Garmadon opens his hand, he finds nothing. As Wu opens his hand, like his father, a small orb of light begins to grow.

WU Dad, am I doing it?

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER(laughs)Very good Wu. You've conceived pure creation.

Garmadon is angered and jealous.

GARMADON(to himself)Of course you can do it.

WU What brother?

GARMADON(louder)Why is it always Wu father?! I'm the older brother yet I always fail!

FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER Patience son. We are all beings of creation, it's in our blood. Just because one lacks his desired results on a first attempt doesn't mean he's destined to fail.

Garmadon closes his eyes, clearly affected by his father's words.

GARMADON(to FSM)Well sometimes it feels like it does.(to Wu)I'm sorry Wu. I always feel like I'm pushing us farther apart.

He turns to walk out of the room.

GARMADON Even when I don't want to.

EXT. THE DARK FOREST - ETERNAL NIGHT

Fade from a shot of young Garmadon turned opposite from his brother to a shot of Garmadon walking with his brother. This memory of his past has just come back to him after being triggered by the previous episode's events.Garmadon snaps out of his memory, stopping in place.

WUWhat is it?

GARMADON(chuckles)You were right, father did once teach us that trick.

WU What makes you so confident now?
