My Girl || Noah Schnapp x Reader

The Prom

Emily screamed, waking up the whole house.
"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD" She skreeched.
"YESSSS" Finn cried.
Everyone came bursting out of their bedrooms, and quickly Noah and I separated. Everyone ran into Noah's room to see what had happened. And when they asked Finn and Emily, they just said I beat Noah at tug of war. The cast shrugged and went back to bed. Thank god. They didn't tell them, they really were trustworthy after all.

Noah's POV

Oh my days. I just kissed Y/N. There was no warning. Now I feel bad- No wait, I don't. I'm pretty sure she liked it. She smiled before we realised that Finn and Emily were stood in the doorway. Damn them. They ruined the moment.

The next day on set

Noah's POV

"Okay guys, you ready?" Finn asked me as he dressed into his vintage tux.
"Yeah.." I replied in a sullen monotone.
"What's up?" He asked me.
"Soooo.. you know how I kissed Y/N yesterday- welllll, please don't tell anyone."
"Why would I? You can trust me, you know as I'm your best friend."

In the scene

Y/N's POV

I was so nervous. I hadn't seen Noah since last night, when it happened. A perfect kiss. I followed Millie and Sadie out into the gym where the prom was being held. It looked so cool. 80's themed everything is just iconic. No one can change my mind. But I saw him. And the Duffer Brothers asked us to get into our places.

The Scene

Jessica saw Will sat alone at the other end of the gym. Reluctantly, she walked over to him and said, "Wanna dance?", he agreed and held her hand. They walked to the dance floor and began to slow dance. They looked around and saw Max and Lucas kiss. But without warning, Will kissed Jessica.

Well Noah kissed Y/N.
The Duffer Brothers saw this and stood there and went, "GUYS RETAKE RETAKE I WANT A JESSICA X WILL KISS"

Noah's POV

The retake

*scene over again up until the kiss*
"Ready?" I mouthed discreetly.
She tilted her head slightly so that she wouldn't ruin the take, but I knew that was the signal. I could sense it. I leaned in. As did she. And we kissed. The camera crew clapped and the scene was done, where in the episode it would cut to a massive gap cracking in the floor of the rehabilitated starcourt mall, revealing monsters seeping out from the Upside Down.
