Chapter 10: How They Got the DANG Button

Ok, so I thought that Doctor Strange was going n Marvel. Then I learned that he is in DC. Then I learned that he is in both. So now I'm really confused. SO: let's just pretend he is only in Marvel because that's what I thought in the first place. OK? OK!

When Doctor Strange did his future seeing thingy, he saw plans for a weird device. He wrote down all of the details, but did it mostly from memory. He kept it secret from the Avengers for no reason at all. He accedentally let it slip and then they all knew. They created it, and Tony pressed the button. They were disappointed when nothing happened, so they left it on the table to use for scrap parts later. Tony got his hopes up, and he wasn't happy when nothing happened. He decided that he would go for a walk....fly? So he did. That's when he found Marinette in the middle of a field wondering where she was. AAANNNNDDD you know the story from there. Now Marinette comes by every week or when she needs to cool off in her old world. She has gotten introduced properly to the Avengers and all of them have grown very close. Expecally her and Black Widow because they have so much in common.

Years later, in the DC Universe, Marinette and Damian got married and had a daughter. They named her Harley. She has green eyes and Black/ almost Blue hair. She is four years old, and can speak English and French well.

Marinette got a letter one day, and as soon as she opened it, she threw it in the trash. Damian looked at it and his eyes grew wide. It was an invitation to a high school reunion. Damian thought she should go because everyone would be shocked at how successful she had been. She has her company MDC that has grown throughout the years, so that almost everyone wears it. Still, no one knows who she is, but she was thinking of telling people who designed their clothes. Maybe this could be her grand reveal......

When Damian mentioned it at dinner, Marinette didn't want to discuss it. She didn't want to go. Damian pushed and she finally agreed. They said that they were going to reveal MDC's identity at the reunion. They couldn't find anyone to babysit their daughter on such short notice, so they brought her along. Now, they sit in a car, driving to Francis Dupont. Marinette was about to back out just then, but didn't because her daughter asked her something, "Where are we going again, mommy?"

"We're going going to my old school. I think Aunt Chloe will be there. You will get to see Olivia." Olivia is Harley's best friend at school, and daughter of Tim and Chloe. Harley just smiled, happy that she could see her best friend outside of school. Then it turned into a frown. "Then why didn't you want to go?" Harley asked. "Well-" Damian cut in.

"Your mommy's classmates were mean to her when she was younger. She didn't tell her her parents, so everything only got worse. That's why you need to tell us if anyone is being mean to you at school," he says. Marinette glares at him, and Harley shrinks down because she doesn't like it when her mother has her "mean face" on, Harley's words. "Your scaring her," Damian whispers. She elbows his side and when she goes to comfort her daughter, the car comes to a stop. Damian hands the driver money, and they proceed to step out of the vehicle.

Once they step into the school, Marinette is met by many glares. A few people came over to apologize to Marinette for their behavior in high school. They had just figured out in the past few years, that Lila had been lying. Those few people were Alex, Kim, and Max. Everyone still thought that Lila was good, even though she was dead and has been for years. Like, get over it already! Damian still wished he could've used the snake miraculous to kill Lila multiple times. No one had to know that though.

Then Alya spotted her (pun intended). She was glaring at Marinette. She walked over to her, and Mari saw. She quickly hid Harley behind herself so Alya wouldn't see her. "Harley, get behind me ok?" The said girl nodded and got behind her mother. Alya marched up to her and attempted to punch her in the stomach, just like that day they remember so perfectly, but she dodged it. Kim noticed, but this time around he didn't intend to hurt Marinette, he intended to hurt Alya.

"Leave her alone, Alya. We aren't in high school anymore," Kim said. Alya was shocked that Kim would defend the 'bully.'

"Why?! She killed Lila!" Alya replied.

"No, she didn't."

Then Harley comes out. " Don't be mean to my momma!" she said with the evil smile Damian wore when he was about ten (Son of Batman. I couldn't find a picture). Then she pulled out a gun.

"Hehe. Her mother taught her well," Marinette whispered to her husband, who was frozen in shock.
