Chapter 23

Sm: It's nothing like that. He is busy with his office work as he and abhi are new on terms of partnership and he is alone too
Avi (nodding): He have to handle my business too

Sm nodded as she was out of words

Avi: Mom what about Jai? He regularly talks with you?
Sm: Umm... No once in month. Cause Sid choose a very strict college so that Jai can study properly without any mischievous behavior
Avi: Oh Okay. Whenever he will call give it me too
Sm (nodded): Now you sleep

Avi closed her eyes. After few minutes avi slept. Sm sat with her caressing her hair

Meanwhile with Sid, abhinavi

They sat in car. Abhi start driving.

Abhi: Sid I was thinking if you done mind
Sid: Yes?
Abhi: I think we should file complain against Elvish. He is dangerous for Avneet
Sid: I was thinking how he got bail?
Vaish: Bail?
Sid: Umm... Yaa yester night he came to take avu but she called police and police arrested him with Avi's statement
Abhi: Then we should enquire about this
Sid: Yes. But 1st let's drop vaishu home
Abhi: Hmm

Then ride was silent. They drop vaishu home and then went to police station

At police station

Sid: Inspector yester night Avneet Kaur filed complain again Elvish about harrassment with her. But today he is out of bars. Can we know how?
Inspector: Cause we don't have any proof against him and in morning Mr. Punit came with lawyer for his bail. So we leave him
Sid (angrily): But cause of this bail Avneet's life is in danger. Around 3hrs ago. He pushed Avneet in sea
Inspector: This must be done by you. We didn't saw this. So how can I trust?
Abhi: But now we want protection for Avneet. As her life is in danger
Inspectot: Bring some orginal proofs then we will think about this
Sid (shout): Life of a girl is in danger and you want proofs? Are you out of your mind?
Inspector: Stop acting like teenager and come with proper proofs. Statements aren't gonna work

Sid was about to say something but abhi drag him out

Abhi: Sid they ain't gonna understand this. Let's leave now. We will see this later
Sid: But how can they leave like this?
Abhi: I think they are corrupted. We have to do something else

Sid nodded then went home and both had dinner. Sid went back to his home

Meanwhile with avi

After sometime she woke up

Avi (open her eyes): Mom where is Sid?
Sm: Beta he came here but you were sleeping. So I told him to go and take rest. He was very tired. So I force him to go home

Avi nodded sadly. Sm feed her dinner. Then she too eat and after some chit chat with Sm, avi slept.

Then Sm call Sid. Sid shared about what happened in police station and Sm shared about Avi's condition. They had some more chit chat then sm hangs up the call an drift to sleep.

Sid didn't slept. He went in gallery and sat thinking what should he do?

Next morning.

Sid woke up and got ready then went to hospital.

As he enters in room he saw that. Avi was sleeping peacefully and Sm was sitting on sofa using her phone

Sid went and sat beside Sm. Sm saw him and hug him. After a minute they broke the hug

Sm: Sid will you do something for me?
Sid: Mom I know what you want me to do but please mom. I won't be able to. So please

Sm: Sid she is really missing you and for me can't you give her one chance?
Sid: Mom if I will then when she will get her memory back and again starts hating me then what about me? (His eyes were filled with tears)

Sm (wipe his tears): My son try to solve this issue nah. She is also incomplete without us. She don't have anyone in this whole cruel world except you and me and don't do this for other but for Jai. For you maa, papa. How Jai will feel if he see his sister in this condition. Totally messed and in danger
Sid: I need time mom
Sm: Okay
Sid: You go home. Get fresh and take rest. I am here
Sm: But you won't misbehave with her?
Sid: How can I do that mom?
Sm: Okay. Sorry my mistake

Sm kissed sid's forehead then she kissed Avi's forehead and left
