After everyone left. Sm, Sid, Avi did a family hug. All were happy. After a minute sm broke the hug
Sm: You both spend sometime. I am going
Avi (held her wrist): I want to talk with you
Sm (cups her face): Say?
Avi: Come sit. Sid you too sit
They three sat on sofa. Avi was in between Sm, Sid. Avi held sid's hand. Rolled his sleeves.
Sid (jerking her hand): Leave it Avu
Avi (held his hand again): Wait sid
She rolled the sleeves of his shirt
Avi (looking at cuts and marks): What's all this?
Sid (ignoring the topic): You should go and take rest
Avi (ignoring sid): Mom what's all this?
Sm (sighed): After you left him. He was so hurt. So-
Sid (cuts her, worried): Mom leave all this nah
Avi (gritting her teeth): Sid I want the "TRUTH" (she said emphasizing the word truth)
Sm: So he was so broken that regular consumption for sleep was normal for him. He was in depression and regular drink then cause of alcohol his mind was not in his control he regularly use to cut his arm. Only on single place. He never let that wound to heal in 4yrs. Even cause of excess constipation of alcohol. He suffered brain stroke. He was on bed for 2months. Doctors strictly recommended no consumption of alcohol. But he isn't listening and never support psychiatric for treatment. He use to bang his head with walls whenever some memories rushes in his mind. At last, he totally engrossed himself in work only
By now Sid was looking down. Avi's was so shocked that she was precing her nails in her skin. Tears were rolling on sm's cheek
Avi (controlling her tears): Siddharth (He looked at her) What the heck?
Sid (cups her face): I promise I won't touch alcohol in my life ever. In morning I swear on mom
Sm: Hmm he did and if he will do then for him his mother will be dead
Sid (held his hand): Mom I won't I swear (kiss on back on her hand)
Sm (took avi's hand kept it on sid's hand): You both have to support each other so that your wounds will heal fast. And avi your marks, cuts will also heal by time
Both nodded. Sm went in room. Sidneet hug each other and stayed like that then fell asleep there only
After a week. They were living happily, loving, enjoying like before. Sometimes abhinavi too joins them.
It was the hearing day. The 3 went to court and sat on seats. Avi was nervous about the decision of court. Sid held her hand and kiss on it
Sid: Cupcake don't be nervous. We have enough proofs against him that for life time he has to be in prison
Avi nodded and smiled little
Soon the arguments of judges, questions from criminals, proving the points as fact is started. All the time avi was nervous like hell. Even sid's heartbeat was also beating so fast. Avi's lawyer proved all the points as the fact in front of judge. Everyone came to know about Elvish and Punit corrupted police officers also. Police officers got punishment
Judge: Now anything else you want to prove?
Avi's lawyer: Yes my lord. Last but not the least I want to ask the Elvish how he got the car keys of Siddharth Nigam which was stolen around 5yrs ago?
Sidneet got shocked.
Elvis's lawyer: Now from where car keys of Siddharth Nigam came in this case?
Avi's lawyer: From Elvish's apartment car keys of Siddharth Nigam came. I mean police officers found it while searching for proofs
Elvish's lawyer: Oh! So my dear friend if you don't know Avneet Kaur was also living in same apartment. May be she took that keys. Why to drag the case on 5yrs old keys?

She handed CCTV footage. Judge played it
Avi's lawyer: My lord from Xavier's college Siddharth left in white t-shirt and black pants then he went to grocery store in white t-shirt but suddenly here he is entering in car in blue shirt. His face isn't recognizable. He took the car and hit My client's brother then again came back and left the car in blue shirt again his face isn't recognizable. Few minutes later Siddharth is coming in white t-shirt from same grocery shop and went on shivaji road where his car hits Jai before there he saw huge crowd and left from other route
Elvish: So you mean to say that person is me who killed Jai?
Avi's lawyer (smirk): Yes
Sidneet were just numb don't know how to react? What to say?
