The cool breeze hit your face's as you ran through the streets. You and Dabi knew the city well, he could say it was like his back garden and to you, well, you knew this place as well as the back of your hand. At one point the police and the heroes had lost track of the two of you while you were running so you guys ran into an underground parking lot of a shopping centre.
'' Hey Dabi...you do realize...that I've been running...bare foot...this whole time...right? '' you said completely exhausted trying to catch your breath.
He looked down and to his surprise you really were.
'' Oh my bad, we can just steal some if you want '' giving you his signature smirk. You nodded and went to the nearest sports wear shop and looked for some comfy shoes and other clothing.

'' OI YOU TWO GET BACK HERE ''
The both of you turned around and face a group of security guards. You looked at each other and then spun back around sticking your middle fingers up and running. It felt perfect. This was your main character moment. Running through the crowds of people being chased, all the attention on you. There was a set of glass doors in front of you but before you got there some guards came and locked them. You paused and faced them.
'' Well shit '' you said turning around slowly '' I guess you caught us '' you approached them with your hands up and a smug look taking Dabi with you. He tried stopping you but you looked at him and mouthed the words Trust me.
Heads hanging down you walked over with your hands behind your backs. As they were walking towards you with the handcuffs on you quickly grabbed Dabi's hand, picked up your shopping and ran in the direction of the glass doors.
'' WAIT BE CAREFUL Y/N '' Dabi called out. You looked back at him for a second and rolled your eyes. To your left was a sale rack, you picked it up and using your strength you pushed it at the doors.
CRASH
The sound of the glass breaking echoed throughout the whole building. The group of middle aged ladies let out a large gasp and the teenagers cheered you on. Glass crumbled and fell to the floor creating an exit for the two of you jumped through.
'' Hell f*cking yeah!! Mann I was so good back there '' you shouted and jumped up looking at Dabi. He looked up at you. To him you were like a little girl proud of her little project, except you had just smashed some glass doors.
She's the one. She was what we needed.
A small smile tugged on the corner of his lips and he stood up.
'' Not too bad little mouse, although we should probably get going before they catch us up don't ya think? '' you nodded and ran a little to place distance between you and the guys from the centre.
' Did you see me though, the way I grabbed that rack it went swoosh and, and then I threw it at the glass the noise it made was so nice '' you were so excited about what you just did. While you were going over what you did, your arms flailed about. You were surprised you didn't him in the face. It made him smile seeing how proud you were of yourself. '' You can't even lie I bet I looked like such a bad bitch back there right? '' he shook his head and ruffled your hair.
You stopped and sat on a bench on the sidewalk and put your shoes and socks on and carried on walking.
'' We're not too far away from the base.. '' Dabi said '' Hey earlier you said you knew me..how? ''
