Guns p.o.v

I packed a few things that I might need. Trying to pack light because the road ahead was long. It's scary to think about what I will encounter. I've never been to war unlike Off, he has been in battle a few times. He said he will protect me right before he left to train.
I'm not training with him because I'm not strong enough to swing the sword. All the amore that was built was made for the strongest men in the city. It's okay though I have my special powers of anything happens to Off. My mother told me not to use it only cause I haven't mastered it. It could cause me become weak the more I try to use it.
Of course I don't believe it, she just doesn't want me to leave. I've already made up my mind and we are leaving in the morning. Off should be back tonight, it's been two weeks that he has been training hard. I haven't asked him about the shapeshifting thing yet. I'm a little scared that he might get mad, the dark queen had wanted to keep it a secret. I won't say anything for now.

Morning is here and we got all the necessary things packed and we are having our last breakfast with the dark queen. Her face shows her concern and worries. I place my hand over hers, hoping in some way it comforts her. Off is also looking displeased this morning. "Guys, I don't want to leave with a sad breakfast. I promise we will come back in one peace." I squeeze lightly on the dark queens hand and look at Off.
I know he is scared that he might not protect me well but it's not something I want him to sacrifice himself to do. I can use a small knife that I keep with me if anyone were to attack me. " We must head out now." I stand up and give the dark queen a peck on the cheek and smile to her. Off stands but doesn't say a word to his mother.
We head out on the road with a few other guards who are here to make sure we make it to the battle field in the Red kingdom.
The dark queen informed us that they can use fire magic. They kingdoms they are at war with is the blue and green  kingdoms. Both have joined to unit their powers becoming water and earth. I'm surprised that every kingdom has powers, I haven't seen them yet but it's already crazy.
You can't see my powers like the others.
I look at Off and he's got his eyes closed. I guess this might be a quiet ride. "Off? I'm sorry. I wanted my parents to accept us. I'm scared, please don't be mad at me. " Tears form as I hold on to his arm. We haven't talked much since the day my parents came. I know I was being rash and agreed with out thinking but I didn't want this to happen. To place us in this matter. I can feel my body shake and the tears fall down my cheeks.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
I can't control my emotions any longer. I'm scared, scared that one of us dies. Scared that we might not make it back, that this was a mistake. My head is getting dizzy as I hold on to Offs arm. "Hey! I'm not mad at you! Its not your fault, Gun look at me." Offs voice sounds so far away. "GUN!" I can't focus, my eyes want to close as I faint.

Offs p.o.v

"GUN! GUN!" I try to get his attention. I hold Gun in my arms as he fainted. Oh boy what were you thinking. How can I blame you, it's not your fault. I'll do anything for you. I'm trying hard to keep myself in check. I should have been there more before we left. This is your first time going to war. I had to train, if I didn't I wouldn't be able to hold myself together. My mother did tell me that she thinks you weren't sleeping at night.
I didn't notice and that's on me. You looked fine when I got back, I had no idea. I feel like I failed at being there when you needed me. "Gun, I love you so much. Please rest well." I cover him in my coat as I hold him close. I promise this won't happen again.
