The Omega Prince and the Alpha Dark Prince

Chapter 22

Off has watched Gun sleep for a few nights, making sure that he doesn't have another nightmare. Its' been hard for him to just leave him since that night. Although, it was a inconvenience to stay for him to stay behind as the others still went out at night, he would still choose to stay with Gun. The nightmares were bad enough to wake Gun every night, in tears. He didn't say what he had dreamed of, just held tightly to Off before drifting back to sleep again. During the day everything was fine, and he didn't act different but at night he would look at Off with a worried face. There could be a higher chance that if the nightmares don't go away that Off would have to bring him into the action. He wanted nothing more than for Gun to stay where he was at least safe. Off held Gun in his arms, rubbing Gun's back as he slept. 

Maybe, tonight he won't have to see Gun jerking awake with tears in his eyes. He hasn't got a good night sleep as he was staying up the whole night to watch over Gun. Off placed his forehead on Guns head and whispered loving words to him. In return Gun nuzzled closer to Offs' chest with a small smile on his lips. Off finally closed eyes and fell asleep. The night was quiet and motionless as they slept peacefully together.  There was no stir in night while they both had the rest they needed so much. Orange and red stints shown threw the window as the morning sun rose. 

Gun opened his eyes to see Off looking at him. It's not that Off didn't get the sleep he needed but he just felt he should be awake before Gun. They stare into each other's eyes as they say their morning greetings.

Guns' p.o.v

I watch as Off gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom. He starts running the water then comes back to the bed. "You want to take a shower with me?" He pats my head and runs his hand down the side of my face.  I nod then he picks me up and carries me to the shower. He puts down gently before he helps me out of my pajamas. In return, I help him out of his pajama bottoms. "Let's get ready for today, it's going to be a long one." Off held my hand while I stepped into the shower. "Why is it going to a long day?" I keep a hold on his hand to give him some support as he got into the shower. 

"I can't leave you alone at night anymore. I don't want you to have another nightmare when I'm not here. You have to come with me from now on, even though I don't want that either. I have already set up a team to keep taking care of the surrounding areas at night. We are going to be heading out to the next town with different team. Let's talk after we shower." Off placed some soap on a sponge and began to rub it over my chest, I do the same to him. "Okay, we can talk more about it later. You should remember though, the reason we are even here is because of me. I didn't think it over and just agreed to this because I wanted my mother to except us. Even though we were destined to be together, my mother wouldn't have been able to separate us anyways. I know your worried that I'll get hurt but I can at least protect myself. I want to be where you are so if you ever get hurt, I can heal you." I stop cleaning his body to look up at his face and I give him a determined look.

His face says a lot of what he is thinking but I can't let him go at this alone. My powers aren't that strong yet, but I know that I am getting better at using them. We finish our shower in silence. We understand where the other is coming from on this matter, there just isn't anything either of us can do to change the others mind. I wasn't just having a nightmare, to me it felt so real. Off gets badly hurt or dies in my dreams and each time I wasn't with him. After making up my mind that I wouldn't let him leave by himself anymore I didn't have a nightmare last night. I think it was telling me that I needed to go. I knew Off was leaving at night already. I didn't say anything about it because I know what he was doing.
