"Can you help me with this? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do it this way." She said to her best friend while adding the liquor and mixing.

"I think that's good, now we just have to pour it into the little cups and let it get cold," Norah assured to her, putting the small cups on the kitchen island and helped her fill them with the mix of alcohol and Jell-O. It was their first time making Jell-O shots since their second year in college so they weren't very sure if they'd come outright, but they were hoping for the best. "Did he told you how near he was?" she asked, making room in the fridge for the shot tray.

"No, not yet. But I'm sure he'll be here soon. We can start to clean the living room, though." She said while washing her hands. Soon both girls headed to the living room and started cleaning up and moving some furniture where the risk of them being damaged wasn't that high.

"Officially our last week sharing the same house," Norah said while holding a framed picture of her, her best friend, and her cousin. One of the firsts that were taken when they all first moved into her parents old summer house. That huge house they gave her as a gift before returning to Stockholm when she got her first job in one of the best companies in the States, just after graduate college.

"Really, Norah?" she rolled her eyes while Nor turned the volume up to the music on Spotify. "If I wasn't depressed before, I'll be on the verge of suicide with that playlist before we finish cleaning."

Norah completely ignored her and started singing like she was auditioning for The Voice, getting up on a couch using the broom as a microphone. She took her phone out and start to record it, waving her other hand like she was in a real concert. Her smile went wider when she saw Bill walked through the door carrying a few grocery paper bags. He instantly put them elsewhere before taking her hand and starting dancing with her.

"Can you believe it?" one of her hands was on his chest and the other intertwine with his while they gently moved from side to side.

"That this is our last week living together?" she nodded. "I still think everything that's happening it's a fucking joke." He chuckled.

"I'm really going to miss you guys." She wrapped her arms around his torso and rest her face on his chest.

"Me too." Bill returned the hug with a small nostalgic smile. They danced to Norah's voice without saying another word until the music stopped.

"I'm gonna miss you too!" the redhead joined the hug with teary eyes.

"Norah, enough with the crying or you're going to make her cry again today."

"Your cousin's right, that's enough crying for a day."

"Right, sorry." She took a deep dramatic breath and wiped her tears away. "Done, now... we have a party to throw." Norah fixed her hair in a ponytail and gave them a wide smile.

Separating for the first time in three years was indeed something that deeply saddened them, but it was all for incredible opportunities. Norah would be transferred to her dream position in the New York offices, Bill had been hired for a major role in a world-class production and would be filming abroad, and she had managed to obtain that internship she had worked so hard for, in one of the best academies of plastic arts in Los Angeles. Everything was starting to fall into place for the three of them, so it was time to leave the crying behind and celebrate their accomplishments.

After 9:00 pm, guests started arriving and by 11:00 pm there were around fifty people. Fifty of their best friends and acquaintances. Organizing parties had always been Norah and Bill's forte. She just liked taking control of the music most of the time and enjoying the result of her friends' organization skills, which she was doing. She left a very nice playlist on the console and then headed for another drink at the improvised bar in the kitchen, where Bill was, with Mark and Steven.
