Stars peeking through the blinds, fairy lights dimly glowing around the couple wrapped up in blankets.
Leaf and violet are laying on their sides facing each other in bed. Legs hopelessly tangled. Hands clasped in the space between their bodies. Eyes staring into one another with the dopiest smiles gracing their lips.
"You have three freckles perfectly lined up under your left eye" violet tenderly rubs their thumb over the said freckles.
"Your eyes seem crystal clear, yet blurring color together at the same time. Like watercolor." Leaf smiles and stares a bit longer into Violets eyes.
"You have a dimple when you smile just like that." Violet whispers ever-so-softly.
"You always have dimples when you smile." Leaf mutters just as quietly.
"I love you..." Violet pulls Leaf closer, voice even softer
"I love you too..." Leaf kisses Violet lips with a touch just as gentle as their words
And the two of them spend the rest of their night like that. Cuddled together under the safety of their soft spoken words and quiet observations. Sweet everythings whispered unto each others lips.
Just the two of them soaking in the gentle love.
