Jealous? Part 1

Backstory: You and Draco are enemies but you never knew he only bullied you because he liked you. You kinda like him but you're not sure. You're hard to get and very popular. 4th year/Yule Ball. You are a Gryffindor. 

(Some profound language)

Y/N POV

I was walking into the Great Hall with Mione she was talking about  some potions quiz coming up but I wasn't really listening. I was excited to go shopping  for the Yule Ball. Two people asked me so far and I told them both maybe. I was waiting for Cedric Diggory to ask me. He was so cute and handsome. 

"Y/N, Hellooo Earth to Y/N," Hermione shouted at me. 

"Oh um sorry what were you saying,"I asked her.

"Never mind that, so who are you going to the ball with?" 

"I don't know I kinda want Cedric to ask me."

"Y/N/N you have two other guys and you're waiting  for Cedric."

"Herms Cedric is just too damn cute," I said a bit too loud.

 Some heads in the  Great Hall  turned towards us and there was a slight chuckle erupting near the Slytherins.

"Shit," I mumbled. 

I looked around the hall to make sure Cedric didn't hear but the next thing I know someone was dragging me into the halls. There hands felt like ice across my waist. They pushed me into the wall slamming  my back against the stone. My eyes met their icy grey eyes.

Draco Fricking Malfoy.

"Ugh what do you want Malfoy,"  I spat at him.  He had a furious expression which he quickly wiped away and turned into a smirk.

"Wipe your smirk away and let me go," I whisper shouted. Thank god we were  the only ones in the hall.

"Hm it seems you have a crush on Diggory is that right?" He asked.

"Why would you think that," I said some what confidently.

"You going to the ball with him?"  He asked completely ignoring my question. 

"Did you ignore my question," I spat

"You ignored mine,"he responded. 

"Do you want to go to the ball  with him," he asked

"I  wanna go to  the ball with someone that I- lik- think is nice." Real Smooth Y/N

"Why go with him when you can go with-me," he mumbled. 

"What was that?" I asked.

"Whatever, just why him."

"I don't need to explain why to you so leave me alone."

"Fine but he's not all that special there are plenty other guys." 

Wait what was The Draco Malfoy  trying to be helpful or was he jealous  I walked back to the Great Hall trying to avoid looking up from my food. Once Ron finished his fourth plate of food we left. 

"Hey Herms I'm gonna go to the library real quick, I'll meet you in our dorm later," I   told  Hermione. 

"Yeah no problem see you later," she said. 

I walked into the library hoping  not to run into Malfoy again. 

I saw on the table and started reading and once again I was pushed against the wall. But this time it was  a lot gentler and their hands were warm. I looked up and saw Cedric Diggory.

Draco POV

Why would she go with Diggory? Why not me? Everyone wants me. Wait what are you thinking she hates you. Ugh you're such an ass. This is all your fault.  Instead of treating her well you treat her like crap. I cant fix this but I guess I should try. 

I walked into the library after her making sure she didn't see me follower her.(A/N *creepy*) She looked so peaceful with her Y/H hair tucked behind her ear.  Suddenly I saw someone push here against the selves. I saw it was Diggory.  

Y/N POV

"Hey C-Cedric," I stuttered. 

"Hi Cutie, a little bird told me that  you have a crush on me," he said calmly. 

I blushed but then I immediately thought Malfoy. He seriously told Cedric that brat. 

"Umm,"was all I could get out.

"Your cute when you're nervous," he whispered. 

"Would you like to go to the Yule Ball with me,"  he asked.

"Yeah  sure I guess," I said as calmly as possible  but in the inside I was kinda fan girling.  

"Ok I'll see you there,"  he winked at me.

Draco POV

That bastard Diggory had his hands on her waist. I walked over to Y/N and Diggory talking. Be nice Malfoy.

"Y/L, Diggory " I said. 

"Shove off  Malfoy," Diggory responded.

"Don't talk to me like that I just want to talk to Y/L. Alone," I spat back.

"Its ok Ced I'll be right back," she said softly. 

We were walking away from Diggory and then we stopped. 

"Malfoy please stop bothering me," she said.

I  didn't respond I grabbed  her hand and walked out of the hallway and into an empty  classroom.
