Author's note: Happy Pongal Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great time celebrating. As we celebrate, let's not forget who this holiday is for, the farmers. The same farmers protesting in India. Thank god the Supreme Court is finally doing something, but we need to continue giving our support.

Suddenly Aadi's phone alarms rings, waking him from his slumber. Half asleep, Aadi unwraps himself from his wife's embrace and reaches for his phone and dismisses the alarm.
"Pappa." (Baby.) He calls softly.
"Mmm."
"Tara pappa." He calls little louder with a shake to her shoulders.
"Hmmmmm."
"Ada chi elundhi." (Wake up.) He says grabbing her blankets.
