A/N

Well hello there. You are once again reading my creation. It is the sixth chapter. Time flies. It seems like just yesterday I published the first chapter of this fanfiction and I'm already on the sixth. That may be because I wrote pretty frequently, but it's still very fascinating to me. I'm sorry that I don't have an updating sceduel. I normally post whenever I have time and I try to post at least once a week (I mostly post three times a week). Hope you liked all the other chapters and I hope you will like this one too :DD.

Y/N POV

Once I was inside the building, I started making my way to the mess hall. Even from ten meters away I could clearly hear the cadet's chatter. I opened the door leading to the mess hall. Everybody went silent as I stepped inside. Pretending not to notice the sudden change of atmosphere, I walked towards the food. Taking a loaf of bread I found an empty table and sat down. After five, very awkward minutes, the other cadets started talking once again.

"Yeah, yeah. I saw the big guy," I heard a voice saying.

I looked at the voice's owner. It was a brown-haired boy with teal eyes. He looked a bit bored with the topic.

   "Wow, seriously?" someone asked.

   "How tall was he actually?"

Oh, were they talking about the Colossal titan? The boy with brown hair was probably from Shiganshina too. Now that I think about it, he was always with the blonde, Armin Arlert, and some other black-haired girl that I didn't know the name of.

"It stuck its head over the oughter wall," the boy replied to the question.

"I heard he stepped over the wall completely, Eren!" another guy said.

   "So did I!"

"That was a rumor in my village too!" Connie said and stood up.

"No, he was not that big," the boy, who was supposedly named Eren said.

"And what about the Armored titan? You saw him too right?" the potato girl asked.

The boy's face immediately changed. I guess he remembered something very horrific because he covered his mouth with his hands. Eren looked like he was about to vomit. All the other cadets backed up a bit.

"Enough questions guys. Can't you see that he doesn't want to talk about it anymore?" Marco said, stuttering a little.

Eren's face changed again. Now he looked confident, a bit too confident if you asked me. His confidence seemed very fake.

"No, it's not like that," Eren said. "Those stupid titans aren't that big of a deal."

"Idiot," I heard my own voice say.

Everyone looked at me. Some of the people looked scared, but most of them just seemed confused.

"Idiot," I repeated. "Titans aren't that big of a deal? Do you hear yourself? Just because you've seen a titan and survived, that doesn't mean you can act all cocky. If there weren't any soldiers there that day, you and your little friends, all of you, in fact, would have died."

I saw Armin stand up. He was really fired up. The blonde boy was blushing a bit and I could sense his nervousness.

"You were the one who saved us!" he shouted. "You were the one who distracted the titans so that we could run away!"
