MARI

"Daughter, I really think that you should apologize to your sister. I won't allow you to go in the North, don't you remember that you don't want to go there ever again?"

It's been a week since father told me to apologize or self reflect in the north, and I chose the latter. So, I am determined to go but every single day, father would call for me in his office and will convince me to apologize.

"Mari, I am worried if not for imperial affairs, I would go with you in the north."

"You will go with me to self reflect too?" I asked with wide eyes. My father? The Duke will go with me?

"I can't make you change your mind?"

"Yes."

"*Sigh* Please reconsider."

Lmao, I thought he would let me but he won't back down either.

"Father, no matter what you do. I will not apologize to Melora. I have my pride and I did what I think is right. I can't let her protect our family's reputation through her lies."

I heard him sigh deeply.

"You do know that what the both of you did was childish right? Rumors began circulating that the eldest daughter of Vermillion is bullying the second daughter."

I rolled my eyes.

"Father, it's better for the others to know how we treat each other than to be called liars. Unlike Melora, I am an honest person, which anyone can trust. They only need to deal with my attitude."

He only shook his head, sigh deeply and rubs his temples.

"You may leave now, I will call for you tomorrow."

I look at him with a frown, he raised his eyebrows at me and said What.

"Father, I don't want to go here. I have so much things to do tomorrow."

"What will you do tomorrow?"

"Have you forgotten? My departure for the North! I will leave in three days!"

"What?! No! I did not allow you!"

"No father, I would rather die, I won't ever apologize to Melora. Goodbye father, I wish you luck."

Even though he called me numerous of times, I dare not to look.

I heard that Melora locked herself in her room and said that she will not stop crying unless she gets her justice.

What justice bitch

"My Lady? Should we bring this with us as well?"

I nod not even caring if she bought the whole closet. I walk towards the window and sat there for awhile, looking out I saw Melora passing by. She might've noticed my glare, she look up, and her eyes meets mine.

Suddenly she smirked for awhile then collapsed while crying.

"Huhuhu."

Her maid looked up and saw me, she gives me a disapproving look and then she coaxed her master.

I heard she's been crying...

Well what better can she do other than that?

I just scoffed at myself why looking at her pitiful act. She could be an actress if ever she's born in earth. An actress that won't be accepted in any film that is...

I threw one look at her before going away. I wanted to look at the beautiful scenery of the garden. Now that someone dirty came in the picture, my mood becomes foul at the sight of that dirty figure.

God damn it...

I decided to go out today, I want to try the sweet shops here before I leave for the north.

The north would be cold, and it's currently summer here in the capital, I must enjoy the cold desserts here before I could no longer eat them, obviously, I would like warm foods to eat when I am already at the north castle. Perhaps I would freeze to death if I insist to eat cold foods.

Okay, I exaggerated that a bit.

I dance as I walk on the road to the maid's headquarters, good thing that Tania didn't bother to look at me when I left the room.

I saw a few maids gossiping, well what do I expect...

Something came up in my pretty little head and I closed the door very loud that made them scream like a pig being tortured.

"I'm sorry, my hand slipped."

I said as I happily look at them tightly hugging each other as if their life depends on it.

"Young Lady, to what do we owe this pleasure?" The red head maid in the center of the group said matching my eyes.

She held my gaze as if I was nothing but a mutt in this mansion.

Suddenly, I felt dizzy blurry images flashes in my head.

"Ha, if only Lady Melora is the legitimate daughter of the duke, then the dukedom would be peaceful!" A maid with red hair said as she looks down on me.

I look at myself and noticed that I am sitting on a puddle of mud. "I am not bullying you for no reason my lady, I am doing this to protect the lady I serve. You deserves being pushed on that mud."

Suddenly, my eye sight became blurry, I look down and cover my face with my dirty palm, only then that I confirmed that I was reminiscing Mari's memories since she was a child.

"M-My lady?! Are you alright?! Should we call for a physician?!" The maid with lemon hair said as she carefully examine me.

The other two remained on their spot and the red haired maid raised her eyebrows at me.

"No, I am fine." I look at the red head maid, she's fierce, I like it. She's a perfect servant for a villainess like me. Too bad she already has an owner. Poor puppy..

"Ahh~ I remember you—" I pointed at the red head maid, I recall that her name is Josie?

"I am hono—"

"—bitch."

With that I held her neck and lifted her. Damn she's light.

"*Guhk?!*"

"Y-Young L-Lady! What do you think you are doing?! Stop this and let go of Josie My Lady!" The one with brown hair said, I didnt even glanced at her nor I heed any of of what she's saying. All I want to do right now was to strangle Josie to death.

In the end. I loosen my grip on her neck and she slump down on the ground while coughing. Too bad... I thought.

"Listen carefully, if ever I see your face after my vacation from the north castle, you can start praying. You see, I have a sickness called Josie Disease if ever a red head maid named Josie caught my eyes, I will not hesitate to do something to her." I warned with wicked smile on my face.

Josie's face paled as she continuesly nod her head while kowtowing. Suddenly I giggled like a witch before turning my back at them.

I left with victorious smile on my lips.
