MARI

"As I said, that is quite rude!"

I stopped myself from scratching my ears because it's starting to itch from my father's 24 hours of lecture...

What?! I only joined the ladies! Is it wrong to join them?! I shouted inside of my head. I don't have the guts to yell at my father who's red in anger.

"I am sorry, I will not interupt with Melora's tea party ever again." I said with a hint of dissatisfaction in my voice.

Err, really I shouldn't be the one acting like this lmao.

"Don't give me that tone Mari Demetria Vermillion. Why did you spilled a cup of tea at your sister Melora?"

Ughh, so this is what happened...

***Earlier***

"This might be a little bit awkward to ask my lady, but. How do you two treat each other?" One of Melora's guest ask.

"W-well of course we treat each other like we're real sisters!"

I rolled my eyes and put down my cup of tea.

I may be wicked but I don't want to lie just because of this damned family.

"Oh my, sister. When did you ever learn how to lie?" I smile.

"W-what? We are close aren't we? We greet each other almost everyday---"

"Again with lies. Have you already forgotten the encounter we had just few days ago?"

I'm talking about when she threw a tantrum in front of me when I didn't greet her properly.

"O-Oh? We did greeted each other sister. You didn't even curtsied properly. Should I share my etiquette teacher with you? Baroness Hildert is an amazing tutor sister." She said as she snickers at me.

Eversince I decided to remain like the owner of thi body, I never joked about being a villainess. What's wrong with being a little bit wicked? Its fun?!

"Oh my, I am already fine. My manners is fine if you ask me. Unlike you who shamelessly say that we are close. We are like an oil in a bucket of water. You can clearly see who's out of place."

I saw how she grits her teeth and clench her hands on the tea cup. The only reason why Mari turned into a villainess because of her short temper.

And Melora being a bitch did all of the things that can make Mari lose her remaining sanity for her sister.

Boom!

And the Winning Heart's Villainess is created!

"Aren't you too much?" She said with a glare. I smirk and I look at her too, matching her glaring eyes. I don't want to argue but since it came to this point.

Err... I'd be glad to take her on?

"Am I too much? No, I am being honest sister. Being close is such a small thing to be lied about. Instead of going straight to heaven? Who knows if you will go and have a nice slide straight to hell because of this matter?" I giggled at the end.

"I am only protecting this house's image! Unlike you who did nothing but to bring shame! I am more capable of you! I am only unfortunate that I am an Illegitimate child! But right now, who is acting like an unloved and irresponsible first daughter?!" She shouted. Catching her breath I did nothing but to smile at her.

"Unloved? Irresponsible? Who do you think it is who poisoned my tea? Sister? Isn't it the maid you gave to me? I won't neglect my duties if only I wasn't poisoned. Protecting the house's image? Why would you lie just to protect the family's reputation? And honestly Melora..."

I picked up my tea and touched the tea inside of it. Hmm it's not too hot, not too cold either, just perfect to be thrown on someone's face heheh.

"My family doesn't need your kind of protection. This is a Dukedom, it's not like your previous status in life okay?" With that, I threw the tea on her face making her scream.

"Oh my god! My face! My pretty face! Someone! Help me! I'm going to die! Help me! Call a physician!" Damn over reacting...

With a victorious smile on my face. I happily made my way, leaving the garden.

***End***

And now, Melora went to father and told him that I was bullying her in front of her friends at the tea party.

If only she tells the truth I wouldn't be so irritated. I really hate liars the most, perhaps it's because of my trust issues in my previous life.

"I want you to apologize to your sister Mari, or you will self reflect on the north castle." With wide smile on my place I answered him.

"Sure!"

Vermillion's north castle, the only wing that is not attached in the Vermillion's main mansion.

Unlike west wing, east wing, south wing and the main mansion. North wing is the only one that is not in the same area as the main mansion, it was built exactly in the north that is why it became a vacation villa of the Vermillion's.

"Daughter, have you already forgotten that North is such a dangerous place? Monsters are scattered anywhere in that area."

I smiled "I know!" He gave me a weird facial expression.

"I suggest you have a second thought daughter."

"But Father, aren't you the one who proposed such idea?"

He flinched and he avoided my eyes. I know that Father didn't mean what he said. The real Mari hated hearing the word North. Something happened to her when they were visiting the North castle when she was young. It was shortly explained in the novel but it wasn't explained in all detail. It was only said that she had an accident there, and aftet that, she doesn't want to ever go in the North castle.

And now! I want to visit the capital of the North! It was often the talk in high society, and of course...

The mysterious Monster Duke of the North.
