I hummed softly to myself as I sat down in the courtyard.

When I looked up I saw the two people I hated most, Sarah James and Draco Malfoy.

And the strangest thing is that they were together. This even made this boy more suspicious.

They sat on a bench and I tried to get a snippet of their conversation. I only managed to get a few words.

"My dorm, tonight."

"Amelia can't know."

"Get over her, we both know you don't love her."

I gasped at their words. Amelia was deeply in love with Draco and she thought he was too.

Not wanting to ruin our friendship I decided on not saying anything.

I would let her find out for herself. Let her know what a liar and cheater he was.

And Blaise, I have to admit, I had a small crush on him. It would benefit me if I told him about Sarah but it would leave him devastated.

I got up and quickly ran off to the dormitories. I couldn't be around them.

I sighed in relief as I laid down on my black covers. "Hey Alice, where have you been?" Amelia asked as she entered the dorm.

"In the courtyard." I replied as I tried to  prevent eye contact. "Are you okay." She asked. "Mhm." I relied.

"So you say." She said as she pursed her lips.

"So you say." I said to Alice. We never lied to each other so why was she lying to me now.

I surely would find out soon.
