"You guys really want to play a horror game amidst this storm we are stuck in?" Felicity rolls her eyes at the ide presented in the group.
"Oh, come on! It'll be fun! And didn't we come to this manor for a weekend getaway and some bonding time? What better way to do that than some cool horror co-op game?" Daniel makes his point, excitement clear in his eyes.
"You play games for a living! Do you think of anything else other than that?" she retorts back.
"Nope!" Daniel cheekily replies and sets up the table for others to join in.
"You are impossible!" Felicity narrows her eyes at him before looking over to Isiah and Nikolai sitting on the couch. "Are all guys basic nerds or is it just this lot I'm friends with?" she asks exasperated.
"Admit it, Felicity," Isiah replies, "you are only bothered because we are going to be playing a horror game. You are just a little pansy!" The three boys howl in laughter.
"No, that is not the reason at all! I just think the game is stupid and boys in general are stupid!" Her face is hot as she replies back to the boys.
"Fels is scared! Fels is scared!" Nikolai starts singing loudly, annoying her even further.
"Guys!" Rachel comes down the stairs hearing all the commotion, "what are you, five? And I agree with Felicity, board games are not what I had in mind when I agreed on this weekend stay. Could we not do something else?"
"Exactly what can we do? The storm outside is trapping all of us inside and Mill's manor is so ancient and in the middle of nowhere, that the internet lines are disrupted. Now I don't know about you but I like to spend this time bonding with you guys than being cooped up in my room refreshing my iPad for the millionth time," Daniel explains and continues setting the table. "So, Rachel, can you please do me a favor and call all of those lazy sacks of shit down for a night of fun-filled horror co-op gaming?"
"Okay jeez!" Rachel puts her hands up in submission and goes up to the second floor to call in the entire gang.
Within 15 minutes, the entire gang has sat down to participate in the board game - some not as enthusiastically.
Isiah, Nikolai, Leon, Felicity, Nikki, Rachel, Richard, Daniel and Millennia are all sitting on the round table with a sheet of paper in front of them.
"So, are we all going to sit on our asses the entire night playing games?" Millennia asks.
"Not at all." Daniel explains. "Each of you has a sheet placed in front of you with 3 clues written on them. The 3 clues pertain to a certain object found in the manor specifically which I have hidden in different places. Your task will be to decode the clues which you have and track down the objects in the manor. Since there are nine of us, we can team up in groups of three. The first group to bring in their objects are declared the winners and get to enslave one person each from the losing teams!"
"Really? Those are the stakes?" Nikki questions the preposterous rules laid out.
"Uh huh. So, you better not lose then. Cause if you do, chances are, you might be someone's slave for an entire day," Nikolai smirks deviously as he looks over at Felicity.
"Nuh uh loser. Not happening," Felicity moves away in disgust.
"Hey Mill, where's your butler at?" Felicity asks. "I'll need someone to give me a head massage after this nonsense night."
"Watch it Felicity! Igor is not my butler but my bodyguard and more importantly a close friend. I'll not have you disrespecting him with your bitchiness. This trip was paid for 10 people including him, so treat him as your equal and not your servant." Millennia warns her with a scalding glare.
