[ The day before the incident ]

A grunt followed after the painful lash of a whip. The chains chinked with his subtle movement as it keep his soles off the cold cement. Despite the burning pain, his gnashing teeth turned into a grin. "I'll remember this.." he snickered. His gold orbs showed intensity regardless of the haziness. "You old dog."

Hydria's eyes squinched. Muling ngumisi ang lalaki ngunit isang malakas na paghampas ng latigo sa pisngi ang nagpalayo ng tingin nito mula sa sagradong nilalang. Dinura nito ang dugo at muling ngumisngis.

Hydria's deep voice filled the enclosed space. "The word of you being one of Shaera's revived soldiers did not escape my ears, Garo. However, I am surprised to see you here in my territory for I assumed you died again from the previous war." marahang inangat ng lalaki ang tingin nito sa malaking nilalang. "But it seem I was wrong. How naïve of me to think a former candidate like you can be dealt by those petty creatures."

"Oi, oi. You digging up quite a relic of a past now? Then it would be rude of me not to cope up with our chitty-chatty-tak-tak, true?" Hydria's eye twitched in annoyance with where the topic is leading and how the man still has courage to fool around despite his situation. This foul creature.

Isang pilyo ngunit madilim na tingin ang ibinigay nito sa babae. "Talking about the past— until now even— you shouldn't be feeling so righteous, ya barking mammal." The wolf's canine teeth came into view. A terrifying wide grin pulled itself on Garo's lips. "Hey, why not offer me too? I'd like to meet another one," His gaze darkened as his sneer remains. "... a God that is."

"Kill him." mabilis na tumalikod ang lobo at naglakad patungo sa malahiganteng pinto. Her eyes filled with anger. "Seal those lips for good."

"But Lady Hydria, we still haven't forced out whom he is allianced wi--"

"It's pointless. No matter how much blood fill these floors, that man won't speak now." Tumigil ito sa harap ng bumubukas na mga pinto at muling nilingon ang kanilang pwesto. She glared at the grinning man. "You understand don't you? This will be your final grave; you will take what you gained from this place to your death."

Garo sneered. "You sure about that you old hag? Your filth isn't the only thing I found in this shithole." tumalim ang mga mata ng babae sa suspisyon. Garo tilted his head to the side and stuck out his tongue. "I also discovered your pup's opposition to your throne. Blep."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ng lobo sa narinig. When she looked forward, isang malakas na daing ang lumabas sa kaniyang bibig dahil sa biglaang pagkalmot sa kaniyang mukha. The huge doors banged open with the figure's entrance. Hydria stumbled back and regained her balance ngunit bago pa ito tuluyang makabawi, a white wolf pounced on her and aggressively bit her neck.

Hydria growled and pushed her off as she shift their position. Their huge figures rolled as they continuously try to bite each other's neck. The room was filled with their growl-barks and loud thumping noises; echoing in the confined place.
