Time Skip 6 months
Your Pov
A lot has happened since last chapter. Now you may be asking "why such a big time skip?" Well you see the Author was getting a bit cough lazy cough and wanted to keep the plot going. So here we are in the land of meadows 'collecting med herbs'. I have been training with Shisui for five and a half months. Let me tell you it hasn't been easy and he hasn't been giving me a lot of breaks.
"Oh come on, that's not ture, you make me sound like a jerk, you are totally over exaggerating!" Shisui yells.
"ahem, whispers 'I'm not over exaggerating' anyway, I'm getting ready to go train right now."
"Alright, for today's exercise, you will have to dodge oncoming kunai with your sharingan activated."
"Oh come on that's easy, your totally trying to get the readers to take your-"
"Y/n, stop breaking the fourth wall and begin."
"yeah, yeah, ok."
I activate my sharingan and get into a fighting stance and I look over at Shisui and he nod. He then jumps into the air and release a series of kunai attacks. I follow each movement and then I notice a kunai fly past my head, I notice an explosive attached to the kunai and move out of the way.
"You didn't tell me there was explosive kunai in there." I say while continuing to dodge.
"I wouldn't be talking if I was you." Shisui says and begins adding more kunai. 'Oh come on!' I then quicken my steps, 'now's my chance!' I grab the explosive kunai and throw it at the tree limb where Shisui is standing. I then hear/see a loud explosion and the kunai stop and I deactivate my sharingan.
"Y/n, what the heck?" Shisui says angrily.
"You should have been paying more attention" I say mimicking Shisui and he sighs.
"I guess I had it coming." he says and puts his head down. I then see Shisui smirking. 'Oh no, that's not good'
"hmm, just for that you get no (favorite type of ice cream)."
"What! why?! That's so unfair, You can't be serious!" I whined. Shisui ends up shrugging and began walking away.
"What you haven't answered my question!" I yelled.
'I can't wait to be done!'
I then follow Shisui inside the small house and I sit down at the dining room table. I see Shisui walk away and come back with something in his hands.
"I found this in one of the bedrooms the other day, I was wondering if you wanted to play?" he asked while walking over to the table, setting the wooden box on the table. I grab the box and open it, it contained different colored marbles, and there was crevices in the wooden board.
"oh, I know what this is" I say and Shisui looks at me confused.
"It's called Mancala." I say and began to set up the board.
"how do you know and do you know how to play?" he asked.
"Yes, I used to play with my father, well more like watched, my mother mostly played for me."
How to Play
1.The game begins with one player picking up all of the pieces in any one of the pockets on his/her side.
2. Moving counter-clockwise, the player deposits one of the stones in each pocket until the stones run out.
3. If you run into your own Mancala (store), deposit one piece in it. If you run into your opponent's Mancala, skip it and continue moving to the next pocket.
4. If the last piece you drop is in your own Mancala, you take another turn.
5. If the last piece you drop is in an empty pocket on your side, you capture that piece and any pieces in the pocket directly opposite.
6.Always place all captured pieces in your Mancala (store).
7. The game ends when all six pockets on one side of the Mancala board are empty.
8. The player who still has pieces on his/her side of the board when the game ends captures all of those pieces.
9. Count all the pieces in each Mancala. The winner is the player with the most pieces.
I finish explaining the rules and we begin to play. The game ended fairly quick and obviously I was the winner.
"You definitely cheated." Shisui
"Sure, your just a sore loser." I commented
"I'm going to make something to eat." Shisui said trying to change the topic.
"What do you want to eat?"
"I don't really care, make whatever you like." I say and he nods. I leave the kitchen and head to my room. I enter my room and pick up my book to read, Well...more like Kakashi's book. I couldn't help myself, I was curious what the ending was.'
I sat there for an hour and finished the book. "Kakashi, you pervert!" I say as a wave of heat dances across my face.
...Meanwhile...
Kakashi's Pov
'Achoo', 'It must be dusty' I say while rubbing my noise.
knock, knock
"Come in." a voice says from inside the office. I slowly push open the old wooden door and bow in front of the Hokage.
"Hello, Kakashi, I have a mission for you. We received news that one of our ninja have been taken hostage by the Mist " The Third Hokage pauses and hesitantly began to talk again.
"The ninja who was taken hostage was Rin Nohara." A wave of dread spread across my body. Yet again Rin was taken hostage. 'This isn't good.' I thought as flashbacks to my our first mission play out scene by scene.
"Right. I understand. I will leave right away." I say and began to walk to the door.
" I promise, Rin I will save you and keep Obito's promise"

Your Pov
"Y/n, time to eat" Shisui shouts from the kitchen.
"Right coming!" I shout placing the book on a desk. I walk over to the kitchen and sit down. Shisui made pasta and it looked so good! We both began to eat in silence. After dinner I help wash the dishes and head to bed. As I lay on my bed in my light grey pajamas, I see a crow fly over to my window seal, cawing.
'that can't be good?'
