Part 4

The next morning came, and Soojin woke up from Shuhua's room. She went straight to Yuqi's room to ask her if knows anything about Shuhua's leaving.

"Yuqi, do you know anything about Shuhua's leaving?" Soojin asked.

"Yes, but I promised Shuhua that I won't tell anyone anything," Yuqi responded.

"I know she left because of me. She told me everything in the letter," Soojin said.

Soojin started to cry while speaking to Yuqi.

"I don't know, but I was thinking a lot last night about Shuhua and the moments that we spent together. And I was thinking about how selfish I was to not notice that she had true feelings towards me and how much pain she was going through because she thought to herself that if she confessed to me, I'll reject her no matter what. But then I really realized last night how important she is to me. I can't live without her," Soojin said.

"Soojin unnie, stop crying. I know it's hard, but it's not too late. I don't know if you have the same feelings that Shuhua has for you. If you do, I advise you to go look for her and tell her your true feelings," Yuqi said.

"In that case, I'll go look for her and tell her. But I have no info about where she is in Taiwan, and I don't have her number since her Korean phone number is no longer available," Soojin said.

"Sorry, unnie, I can't give you any info since I promised Shuhua. Maybe you can go to the company and ask?" Yuqi said.

"Thank you, Yuqi. I will go to the company right after I get dressed," Soojin said.

Soojin left Yuqi's room and went back to her room, got dressed, and washed up. Without eating, Soojin left the dorm and rushed to the company. After some time, Soojin finally arrived at the company. Soojin walked straight to the Chairman's office. Soojin knocked on the Chairman's office door.

"Come in," said a man's voice.

Soojin went in, and it was the Chairman.

"Soojin, what brings you here to my office? Is something wrong?" Chairman said.

"Mr. Chairman, I came to ask for information about Shuhua's leaving," Soojin said.

"So that's why you came to me. Well, Shuhua also told me why she chose to leave. It was kind of hard for me to let her go, too, especially since she has improved so much over the years. And when she told me the reason for her leaving is you, I knew immediately that there was no way I could've stopped her since this is 'love' that we are talking about. It hurt me to see that she has loved you for so long and yet you thought that she just thought highly of you, that's all, but honestly, I would say that everyone knew that she had something for you, but you never felt it, I guess. The only information that I have is her parents' address," Chairman said.

Chairman gave Shuhua's parents' information to Soojin.

"I know I'm such a fool for not knowing how she felt for me and for hurting her for so many years. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I'll go look for her parents and ask them where Shuhua is and tell her how I feel. I won't come back to Korea without her. I've learned that I can't live without her," Soojin said.

"Okay, I wish you the best of luck," Chairman said.
