Teri's high pitched whine pierces in to Lilly's foggy dream. Then, an immediate discomfort, a feeling of being exposed and cold starts to completely pull her back into wakefulness.

Teri, in his resentment at being left alone all night last night, and having missed his morning walk because the human would not leave the bed, finally reached his boiling point. He had grabbed the bedsheets and pulled them off the human.

Finally, a reaction other than snores!

"Teriyakiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, not yeeeet." Lilly grunts and stretches, opening her eyes to the very bright room. She wasn't able to close her curtains completely and the sun light had been beating on the side of her ear for who knows how long. She was sweaty and groggy. And shit, she feels like she got steam rolled.

Lilly lifts her 10 ton arm to cover her eyes.

"What time is it Teri?" Teri barks in response. She lifts her arm off slowly to glance at the clock above the closet doors.

"FFFfuuuuuuuuuu--seriously?!?!" It's 2pm. No wonder Teri was whining. With heroic effort she gets up and goes to Teri by the foot of the bed.

"I'm so sorry bubby! You have been such a patient boy!" Giving him snuggles and rubbing his tummy and ears.

Grabbing her head, she straightens up and walks to her side table, puts on her glasses, gets Teri a treat from the drawer, and also checks her phone. One text from mom checking on her to which she immediately responds with: I'm doing great mama, super safe, and made some friends too!Love you! Call you later okay =). Another from Phoebe asking how the night went. Lilly makes a mental note to call her later after Teri's walk since that conversation will surely take awhile. And voice mail from Daniel.

The voice mail carrying Daniels sleepy but cheerful baritone. "Heyyy Lilly, ah just ah checking on you, I just woke up myself, but text me when you wake up so we can plan on how to get your car and stuff. Ah and um I'd love to see you. yeah bye!"

Lilly blushes and finally gives in to the squeal she'd been keeping in all night last night. She hops around and fans her self with her hands like a frantic Justin belieber. Finally she collects herself enough to text back: Hi! Sorry for the super late response, I literally just woke up.

She hadn't even taken 3 steps towards the guest wing kitchen when her phone started to ring. It was Daniel. She picks up with a too perky Hi!

"Well hi there sleepy head! What did you do like hibernate for 10 hours?" Daniel playfully pokes at Lilly.

"Nine and a half! I had to shower and all that so I didn't get to bed till 4:30-ish." Lilly retorts.

"Well your body needed the rest. How are you feeling then?" Daniel gently asks.

"Oh you know, like I got tackled by 62 football players in a line, I've never drank that much, I think, in my life! My 30 year old body is unable to do that kind of night very often-actually, ever again!" Lilly issues a stern warning to Daniel to which he responds with a deep chuckle.

"Yeah Lydia and Madeline were constantly plying drinks at you all night. I thought I'd have to carry you out! Excuse my friends, when they like people they give them alcohol." Daniel laughs.

"Aw well then they love me, that's for sure!" Lilly gets to the kitchen and starts to prepare to make a veggie omelet for herself and Teri.

"Yeah my friends did say you were cool. You'd know if they didn't like you." Daniel reassures Lilly.

"Well, I like them too. Are you working today?" Curious, since she doesn't hear any hubbub in the background.

"I do but only dinner service today, so in like 3 hours or so. How about you? What are your plans for today?" Daniel fake-casually asks.
