What happened [10]

Sorry that it took me forever to get this chapter out. I wanted to make it longer than my other chapters. I also wanted to make it more dramatic? I don't know. I'm sorry if it sucks but I have been writing this chapter for almost two weeks now.. so I hope it's not too bad.

Erens pov

Passing through the gates and now outside the walls, I can't help but think about if today will be the day that we kill all Titans. It's a low chance of that day being today, but.. it would be amazing, wouldn't it? Finally, being able to have true freedom, without having fear of who might die.. I can only hope that day comes soon. I want my daughter to be safe, and away from any danger as she grows up. "There are three abnormals west of here, so be cautious." A random scout shouted. We all started splitting up and going separate ways. Jean, Connie, and Sasha start going off east. Mikasa, Hanji, and Erwin straigh ahead, leaving Armin, Levi, and myself to go west, where the abnormals are.

So far so good, we haven't come into contact with the Titans, and it would be great if it stayed that way. I'm sure that's not going to happen though, we are bound to run into them at some point. "I am going to go off that way, shoot a smoke signal if you need me." Levi says to us, us nodding in agreement.

"So Eren.. (y/n)'s due date is coming soon isn't it?" Armin says starting a conversation. I smile as I think about it. Our little girl is supposed to be coming in the next two weeks. "Yeah, I can't wait to meet her." I say to Armin. "Do you guys have a name picked out?" He asks. I shake my head. "No, we're waiting until we see her so we can make sure it matches her." I say and Armin nods while smiling to himself. It grows quiet until we hear Titans in the distance. "Uh, Eren.. are we going to take them out or leave them be?" Armin asks. "Is that even a question? Of course we are going to take them out! Get ready Armin, don't make it so I have to save your ass now!" I say as we come in contact with the three Titans. "Got it!" Armin says. We ready our ODM gear, and then we get to work. I successfully cut through the nape if the tallest one. "HAHAHA STUPID TITAN!" I say proudly. I look to see Armin, but I don't see him? "ARMIN!" I shout as I see him in the smallest Titans hands. I make my way to the Titan to cut it's nape as I hear Armins scream in pain. My hear dropped as I thought about what had just happened. D-did Armin just get eaten- because I wasn't fast enough..? I go to the front of the Titan only to see Levi holding Armin in his arms. "I-is he dead?" I ask. Levi shakes his head. I feel relief instantly. "No, not yet. Take him back inside the walls and to the base. Take him to the infirmary and hook him up to the machine. You know what to do right?" Levi says and I nod. I try to grab Armin from Levi but before he would fully give Armin to me, he said something. "Eren. Transform into your Titan so you can get him back faster and safer." I nod and bite into my hand.

Your pov

I take a bite of my bread as I turn the corner to the dorms. Ready to enter my room but as soon as I place my hand on the handle I hear movement from down the hall. I walk towards the noise cautiously because I know I am supposed to be the only one here. I hear movement in the infirmary, and immediately my mind went to Eren and my friends. Did someone get hurt? I walked into the infirmary and thats when I saw Eren placing Armin in a bed.

"What happened!" I ask pretty much yelling. Eren jumped as I spoke. I must have scared him, but that doesn't matter right now. "U-uh.. there was an accident.." Eren says to me as he grabs a machine and hooks it up to Armin. I watched as he figured out how the machine is suppose to work. "Do you need help?" I ask worried. Eren shakes his head and I frown. "You should go rest (y/n)-" Eren says to me. "No, not until I know what happened Eren." I say and hear him sigh. "Then please sit down at least. I will tell you everything once I have him hooked up." Eren says. I listen to him and go sit in a chair beside the bed. I look at Armins body and he doesn't look good at all. There is blood and almost his whole body is bruised. Is he even alive.. As if my thought was heard I hear the machine start to beep, which answered my question. He is still alive, just unconscious. I feel relieved and I believe Eren does too seeing that he's not being so frantic anymore. Eren then comes over to me and holds my hand. "Let's go for a short walk and I will explain." He says and he pulls me up leading me out of the infirmary and into the hallway.
