Susie,
Always a doozyKept her head high
Without even heaving a sighPeople chattered
People scatteredBut Susie still kept walking
And people kept gawkingShe was so small
She felt so small
Yet everybody thought she was brave
Oh so brave.
Susie tried to be brave
Everyday she had to behave
Because she knew she had to at least try
Underneath her small stature,
You would see someone who was a work of Mother Nature
She was impeccable
She would have clearly been a spectacle.
But the people chattered
Some people scatteredBecause she hadn't really mattered
But Susie James,
Didn't really care about them
Like fingers pushing a stem
Being brave was all that she cared about
And she didn't have a doubt
Sometimes she would try to care,
But it was a waste of a stare
People chattered
Some scatteredAnd herself was all that Susie cared about
