Children running through the hallways, suitcases dragging around and the sound of lockers rattling echoes. Summer Vacations were over, for some it was a tragedy, and for others ..... it was quite normal, or at least that's how Sebastian described it. It was rare to see his parents in his house, his mother barely gave him the slightest of attention, and his father, well ... that's another story. As always, in Lake Wood Vale Academy, first day of school they did a big welcome day with no class. But Sebastian? Oh he was not planning on attending that dinner. He preferred sitting on his dorm while secretly smoking a cigarette. He looked out the window, as always, the window was filled with fog and a very cold climate, it would surely rain.
He stopped smoking and hid his cigarette when he heard the door suddenly open. Luckily, it was only his dorm partner Matthew. Sebastian sighted. The blonde buy looked at him and nodded in disappointment. "I knew it. You are smoking. Once again! And you're going to miss dinner." Sebastian looked up. "It's always the same goddamn food. nothing new." Mat took a deep breath. "It's mandatory." "No it isn't." The brunette denied. "Fine, don't go, keep fucking your lungs up. See you at dinner." He said goodbye sarcastically. While Sebastian looked into the fog once again. Through the window, bastian could see that there were still a lot of cars dropping of their kids at the academy. 'Lucky bastards'. He thought while watching how the children said goodbye and hugged their parents. In one of the cars, a curly haired girl got out of her vehicle, Sebastian focused his eyes. Dior Cameron. He scoffed and lit off his cigarette. The brunette girl hugged her
parents one last time and happily was greeted by the teachers before going inside of the building.-
Dior walked through the corridors, filled with young students running, and talking to each other about their summer. With a suitcase in one hand and five books in the other she approached the stairs going up to her dormitory.
When she opened her dorm, the door in front of her squeaked, revealing a dark skinned boy with a tired expression. When he saw Dior, he sighted deeply. "Dior." He saluted with a little bit of anger on his tone. "Gabrielle." She said in the same tone while entering her dormitory. The curtains were open, so Dior guessed that her roommate had been in there already. She left her suitcases on her side of the bed and her books on one of her shelves.
Even though it was only 5:00pm, it was still very dark in Boston. The brunette sat on the edge of the bed. At this point of the evening it was pouring outside. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, it had been a long ride from her house to the academy, she groaned remembering she had the welcoming dinner in an hour. Dior was not happy about it, it was a very repetitive event with nothing special, but she had to attend, being one of the star students it would be odd if she didn't attend. She didn't realize how much time she had spent alone with only her thoughts, it was half an our until dinner and Dior was not happy about being back.
Thank you guys have no idea how much it means to me. Sorry if I have any grammar mistakes. English isn't my first language. I hope you guys enjoy the chapter. Because this is only the beginning. I know it was very short but again, it's only the beginning. I wanted to show you Dior's and Sebastian's point of view about the academy.
