The Party Begins (Prologue)

*The phone rings*

"Hello?" You ask cautiously.

"Hey...Would i be speaking to *Y/N by any chance?" Said the other person. You immediately recognized the voice on the other end of the line to be none other than Hisoka. "Oh its you, Hisoka. What do you want?"

"Well, I have a proposal for you." His tone intrigued you greatly. "Oh? And what would that be?" Your curiosity kept amping up.

"A party." He said with a bit of giddiness behind that normally slick voice.

"Really? When is it?" You were particularly fond of parties so whenever they came round, you'd always find a way to go.

"In a few days. In York New City." "York New City? Where that underground auction is being held?"

"As a matter of fact, yes. Can you make it?" He asked.

"Of course I'll go! May I ask who else will be there?" You were kind of curious as to who would be invited.

"You'll see! But, feel free to invite anyone else you wish." You were starting to get annoyed with all the secrecy.

"Anyone I want him? Ok! I'll see you in a couple of days." You said.

"I look forward to it." Then Hisoka hung up the phone. 

You were definitely surprised at the fact Hisoka invited you to a party of all things, definitely a little out of character for him. What is he planning?

A few days later...

You drove a long way to get to York New City, about an hour or so. It was late at night, the whole city filled with life and a clear night sky littered with twinkling stars. "A perfect night indeed." You thought. After that long drive you finally arrived at the hotel that Hisoka was staying at. He had booked a hotel room for the party, which you thought a bit strange, but its Hisoka we're talking about here, nothing is to strange for that man. Maybe he had a mission with the phantom troupe and that's why he had rented a hotel room? You weren't entirely sure. But, Hisoka did tell you a while ago that he joined the phantom troupe, over the years you had gotten to know a few of the members since you worked with them on occasion.  So maybe he was doing something with them. You valet your car and get out to see this massive building in front of you. "Wow!" You gasped as you looked up at the place. You began to walk inside and you found your way.

"I'm here as a visitor." You tell the hotel clerk at the front desk. "Alright. Name?" He asked. "Hisoka Morrow." You said, your excitement levels rising. "Ah yes. Go to the 80th floor, room 8001, the luxury suite." He said. "Oh, ok! Ill be on my way." Then you took off towards the elevators. You watched the glowing numbers on the panel increase. 60...70...80! The elevator stopped and opened to a large, two-way hallway. The room was the first one on your left.

You proceeded to knock on the door. It opened and you see your friend gon open the door, he was extremely excited to see you since you hadn't seen him in years. He was about 18 now, he had grown quite a lot. He was now a few inches taller than you, same with Killua. Leorio and kurapika hadn't changed much, but you were still kind of in shock at how much Killua and gon had grown. You were a little older than them but you were now the shortest among both Killua and gon. You step into the room and you see Leorio and Kurapika mid conversation, They both had drinks in hand.

"Y/N! How have you been!? And thanks for inviting us by the way!" Said leorio.

"Busy! How about all of you guys? I've missed you so much." You said to leorio, gon, Killua, and Kurapika. You met Hisoka, Killua,Gon, Kurapika, Leorio as well at Killuas brother Illumi at the hunters exam a few years back. It was amazing, it felt like no time had past since you had seen them last. As you reminisced about the past you heard foot steps coming over to the group.

"oh how touching~" it was Hisoka.

*You turn around*

"hey you, long time no see!" You waved toward hisoka.

"I'm glad you could make it Y/N~" he said with a genuine smile.

"So what's the party for may I ask?" You said in your most polite voice.

"Well, I thought it might be fun we all get together since we are in town, work tends to split us up and weaponize us, I figured a fun night would defuse the tension~" said hisoka in his sing song voice.

This was very out of character for him, but a nice change to his usual sinister, psychopath personality.

"Excuse me Hisoka, who will be in attendance to this party?" Asked Kurapika interrupting yours and hisoka's conversation. 

"I do believe a select few of the phantom troupe will be coming. Is this a problem?~" said Hisoka. He knew about Kurapika's hatred towards the spiders was strong. He definitely did that on purpose to get a rise out of him.

"Not at all." Said kurapika, but his eyes began turning red. Hisoka looked content at his reaction, his plan definitely worked. Kurapika was tempted to leave But the happiness of his friends was more important to him so he decided to stay with you , gon, Killua, and leorio. He ended up sticking by you four for the rest of the night.

You six were the only ones for a little bit, but finally you heard a knock at the door and a few of the phantom troup members walked in. You saw Shizuku, Shalnark, Nobunaga, Phinks, Machi, Pakunoda, Chrollo and Feitan walk into the door, along with Illumi. You were very surprised to see Illumi, you're guess was that he came to keep an eye on Killua.

Kurapika didn't pay any mind to the troupe whatsoever.

"Alright, now that everyone has arrived, let's get this party started~" said hisoka clapping his hands to get everyone's attention.

"I'll get the booze!" Said leorio, of course.

About a half hour later while the members of age started to get tipsy and well aquatinted. Some of the people were starting to get bored out of their minds. So out of nowhere...when someone said.

" hey, let's play 7 minutes in heaven."

It seemed to peek everyone's interest quite a bit.

"Hell yeah!" Said leorio.

Everyone gathered in the living area of the hotel suit.

"I hate this game." Said Feitan. obviously not having it, but he followed the group anyway.

"Awe, loosen up Feitan. It'll be fun!" Said Shalnark as he leaned down and thrusted an arm around Feitan shoulders. Feitan brushed Shalnarks hand off of his shoulder in silence.

"Ok everyone, write your name down on a piece of paper and throw it into this box.~" said hisoka in a cheerful excited voice.

And everyone did just that.

"Hey Y/N do you want to go first?~" Said hisoka

"Sure! I'll take one for the team." You said confidently. Then you plunged your hand into the box.
