First chapter tris's pov

"Wake upppppp" I heard someone shouting in my ear. I jumped up tripping over my sheets and face planting on the ground. I looked up to see my brother Caleb laughing holding a camera. " ready for your first day of school Beatrice" he cackled. Don't get me wrong he is my brother my annoying brother but I love him. A pulled myself off the ground. Today was me first day of dauntless high school. We moved to dauntless drive from allegation street. The street was as strange as the name. " Beatrice" my dads thundering voice broke my thoughts.

I quickly put on a grey top with grey pants black converses and black lenses glasses. You would probably think my favourite colour is grey. But your wrong my dad hates when I dress stylishly I would if I could. But I also wouldn't if I could. That probably doesn't make sense but I was the smartest girl at allegation high. I also hate attention. I rush down stairs to face my father. " you took to long" he bellowed " you'll see it coming tonight". I nodded and starting making breakfast for my family. When I finished I placed food filled plates on the table. When I put I plate down for my mother she looked at me as if saying you have it. I grabbed some fruit and sat down I the corner to have breakfast. Dad doesn't like when I sit with the family. " let's go" shouted caleb he skipped through the door i trudged after him.

Tobais's pov
The engine of my red Ferrari roars. I glance over at my girlfriend Lauren. She is hot. I might dump her today. I saw a hotter girl than Lauren on the beach yesterday. Well whatever. We are almost at school when I see Zeke and Uriah the other boys in my gang. I pull up to see a sleek black Ferrari pull up beside me. Two new kids step out I like the girls eyes but she is wearing grey, so yeah.

Christina's pov
I walk into class to see a girl sitting by herself as I get closer I notice see has geek glasses. " hi I'm Christina " she puts her head down " I'm tris" she mumbled. " tris " a voice exclaimed " as in Beatrice" said another. I saw tris glance up. I did to. I saw Four and Lauren. " just what we need another geek" sarcastically stated Lauren. " leave her alone Lauren" I looked at four and saw him looking into tris's eyes. " let's go four " said Lauren in her high pitched posh voice. " that's the high school player four he's the captain of the football team " I told tris " and Lauren is his girlfriend".

When I got home my dad told me to go to my room. I heard him get out the strap. " turn over" he commanded. I lay on my stomach. I heard the strap cutting through the air. Snap I felt a stabbing pain in my back. " it's for your own good" he cackled.

Tris's mums pov
I got nervous because Andrew just went up to tris's room. Minutes later I here a scream. Then Andrew walks back into the living room.
